The hotel is located in a small village surrounded by a semi desert. The palace is magnificent and has spacious rooms with a sit out area and a big washroom. The dining area is a stunner with huge chandeliers and beautifully carved walls. The pool was equally good with comfortable sun loungers. What disappointed us was the service and the disinterested... From the moment we arrived we didn't feel really welcome. At reception we were somewhat ignored, while they appeared to be having a chat amongst themselves. Finally someone asked if they could help us, and when I replied we were here to check in they seemed really surprised, and unprepared. We did have a reservation and the hotel also had... More

We arrived in a very small village and this hotel took us completely by surprise. Not sure we were suitably dressed for lunch as the dining room is out of this world. The reception area is beautiful. A wonderful experience.

Holi holidays were an extended weekend this year and we wanted to take a break away from the typical colours and Holi. We were recommended Alsisar Mahal by a hotelier friend and we made the bookings for a 2 night 3 day break. We left early and reached the property by 0845 hrs and were expecting to be informed the... Well maintained property with enormous guest rooms. Amenities somewhat basic though adequate, but the overall experience very positive. Friendly helpful staff. The dining hall is elaborately decorated with high quality wall paintings. Well located, we drove around to Ramgarh and Mahansar to see some of the famous painted havelis of Shekawati.

Stayed here for one day. Was on an official visit to Jhunjhunu. The place is 26kms from Jhunjhunu and the road isn't very well laid. So it takes around 30-40 minutes for you to cover those 25 kms. You get the sense of the royalty as soon as you enter the gates of the palace. Very beautifully built. The reception... More

Rooms are spacious and well equipped. All basic amenities are in place. It is not necessarily a place where you would want to go to experience modern amenities. It is a place where you would want to go to experience how the princely kingdom lived ages ago. Grand dining hall is just a treat to you eyes. Badal Mahal would... More
