I spent there a weekend and I found it really relaxing. The staff was really helpful and I loved the food (and the beers) that they can provide! I was there with some friends and we had great time, we also went to swim in the Babogaya lake!! I will come back for sure..

This lodge offers great relaxation area, comfortable bedrooms, and exceptional food. When staying at a hotel/lodge, any of those assets would be welcome. To get all three is a joy. This place is great to reunite with nature and animals (there are about 10 turtles walking around the lodge). It has master simplicity, from sleeping in a tree hut to...

This is really a great place. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice, and most of them have wonderfull view on the lake. Arrival at the coldest time of the day, but the views and the delicious breakfast gave warmth immediately ... The owner gave us good tips to visit and took out to a nearby lake to see...

We've discovered it by chance, while strolling around and it's been a great surprise. We've only spent 3-4 hours in the sitting are, ordered food and drinks. The choice is limited, but fine. It is welcoming and rustic lodge with an awesome view over the lake. I would highly recommend this establishment to you.

We had a great weekend here. The reviews are pretty much spot on, so we got what we expected. Kids were very happy staying in the treehouse, playing with Jan's kids, and going round the lake on the free kayaks. The view is special from the terrace. The place is basic but real, and it's the only place that fits...

We have stayed in this lodge as our original flight was canceled and we had to leave 1 day earlierer to Ethiopia. We didn't want to stay in Addis and this is was a good choice to start our vacation. The fact that it is a Belgian guy who own this lodge may have had an influence on our choice...

The Lodge is perfectly located over the lake Babogaya, has lovely rooms with ensuite bathrooms and an aerea just made for relaxation: You can hang around under the african sun or have a drink in the shade of a hut, you can go for a swim in the (bilharzia-free) lake or go canoeing. When you are looking for more activity,...

It is with true sadness that I have to give this place only 2 out of 5. In fact it is all just beautiful: decor, food, view. Unfortunately it is not justifiable that at least when I went there were rat noises at night that don't let you sleep, and even if you may not see them, you do hear...

An awesome place to unwind! You will enjoy the many other sites such as other seven lakes nearby. The place is about 45 kms from Addis and takes an hour to reach the place by car. I went hiking to the farthest lake called green crater lake. You will hike about 2 -3 kms before you reach the top but...
