Very relaxing lodging in a beautiful setting along the Eagle River. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Jason is especially warm and caring. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and appreciated the hospitality.
Elevator doesn’t work. There’s a heinous noise coming from the pool house and their own employee has a super annoying loud car that he likes to floor out of the parking lot every night around 11pm. Enjoy!
Stayed early January during COVID in a studio unit with full kitchen. The property was well maintained and clean even though it is an older property. Important thing is that everything worked, and there were no hiccups. The only minus was the walls are pretty thin, but I'm a heavy sleeper so it wasn't a bother, and the property and the occupants were settled by 11pm. The ski shuttle is less than a minute walk away, and Avon Recreation Center is very close, too -- with an indoor pool/water slide and very decent workout facilities (not included in Falcon Point rate...just adding this info). I used an Exchange Week from Interval, and it was well worth it!
Quiet, lots of parking. Key card room access. The rooms are somewhat dated but the bed was very comfortable. Limit kitchen included a toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator, blender and cooktop. There are two gas BBQ down in the pool area with all the tools. In/outdoor pool with two hot tubs. The northern one the jets are quiet violent and should be fixed. Everything looked clean No air conditioning, but a box fan and a ceiling fan. We did not have an issues with the room temperature
The condo where we stayed was an excellent venue for two couples! Great amenities and service! Well appointed kitchen, and we cooked some great meals. The only drawback is that we don't golf, so we had to ask around for places to see (Rocky Mountain National Park, Gunnerson, and Great Sand Dunes National Park were too far away, about 150-170 miles one way). We wanted to see gorgeous views and we did find four nice driving loops in the vicinity, anywhere from 3-6 hours in time. Scenery was spectacular.
We booked a time share exchange here for the last week of August. It was in the upper 80’s all week and there was no air conditioning! (This was NOT disclosed before booking the unit. It was rated the 2nd highest rating in the system. That’s not proper disclosure or a proper rating!). We had to stay gone all day and were forced to eat out all meals, because it was too hot to cook in the room at meal times. Thus, we were unable to eat the groceries we had. We came back to the unit right before bedtime each night and took a cool shower, just to be able to get to sleep. We left Colorado a day early due to this uncomfortable facility. Also, other pertinent information—- —This facility shuts down completely between 10 pm and 8 am MT. There is NO ONE at the front desk over…
There a nice outdoor pool and hot tub, a sauna, and a game room (pool, ping-pong, foosball),. They are right next to Nottingham Lake, which has a walking path around it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and very environmentally-friendly.
We stayed for a week with our adult children. The condo was very clean with everything we needed but washcloths 4 for 4 days for 4 people. So we went to Walmart and purchased 20 washcloths for $5. Just can't reuse those without grossing myself out. We enjoyed being able to check out board games for a family game night. Our toaster malfunctioned and we had a new one in 10 minutes! That's awesome service. Close to town and the ski slopes.
Great property with friendly staff. Walkable to restaurants and shuttle to BC Indoor outdoor pool, grills, gym, big screen TV in lounge area. Will be back. Was there 2 weeks, 1 bedroom great, studio OK
The team here at Falcon Point in Avon were very hospitable and made our stay wonderful. The hot tub is hot and clean ,rooms were spacious and clean, and if you can snag a spot in the heated underground garage ,it makes the morning car start a breeze. We walked to a number of nice restaurants from our lobby . We.will return some day.
