Their hours 8am-9pm/10pm meaning if you arrived after that you call thier "after hours" answering services they will give you the code to enter the lobby, give you the lockbox number and the code to open it. We arrived at 4am drove from the airport for 2 hours from a delayed flight so you can imagine my husband and my son are really tired and ready to hit the bed. Answering service took 30minutes to get hold off. Gave me the code to enter the lobby all good. Tried the code to my lockbox does not work. Called again this time, it took 45 min to reach them. Some guests got their key all good. Mine not working. At this time it is already 630am. Very tired and upset, they called the on-call manager to meet up with me and get me the key. Manager came gave me a key she apologized and…
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Falcon Point. When we arrived there was an issue with our room. Management completely understood the issue and the next day they made it right by moving us to a different room. We really appreciated the move! We enjoyed the location of Falcon Point and the surrounding area. We spent some time exploring Beaver Creek and we also enjoyed taking walks around the lake. It was a nice place to spend some time after our visit to the Denver & Colorado Springs areas.
We rented a week from an owner and enjoyed the stay in the Colorado high country. We had a one bedroom with full kitchen and a balcony overlooking the parking area. The weather was quite warm and the resort does not have A/C. This is very typical of the older resorts. The ceiling fans kept us very comfortable. The kitchen provided everything required to prepare meals. We cook in 90% of the stays. The bath area was on the small size but adequate. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The staff at Falcon Point were helpful and courteous. Our 5th floor room was on the highest floor and so we enjoyed vaulted ceilings and a spectacular balcony view of Nottingham Lake. Take advantage of the pathway that encircles the lake -- it's long enough for some good exercise and you can't beat the view. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Master had a very comfortable king size bed with attached bath. 2nd BR had one full size and one twin bed with an attached bathroom. The large, fully-equipped kitchen had everything we needed (including dishwasher) and a large dining table that seats six. The living room is spacious -- the furniture was not comfy for long periods of sitting, but adequate. The balcony opens off of the living room and provides a wonderful view of the lake and…
First, our check in was delayed because the front desk was processing. Had to write all info by hand, including credit card info. Next, a pile of the previous guest's dirty clothes greeted us in our room. When I called the front desk, they apologized and said that was all they could do. Next morning the kitchen sink exploded...water and garbage everywhere. First they said we were no supposed to use the garbage disposal and that there was a sign saying this. There was no sign. Next they said, well you aren't supposed to put "industrial" amounts of food in a regular disposal. Which we did not. In fact they showed us the garage and asked if we had put it in the disposal. Unbelievable. They could not move us. All the service help was incredibly rude. And our Easter morning was spent…
Rented a small studio for 5 days while spring skiing. First, the room was SPOTLESS. Probably one of the cleanest rooms I have ever seen. The property is not new but it is well kept with good maintenance and friendly staff. The small studio had a kitchenette in it with everything needed to cook. Even had a dishwasher. The room is not large but adequate for couples. No king bed, only queen in this type of room. Bathtub is nice 6 foot long instead of 5 but hot water is not super plentiful... Electric heat, no AC...probably because it never gets that hot here but again, if you come in the summer, request an upper floor. Pool and hot tubs run year around and are nice. Large lounge at the end of the building with pool table...nice. Can walk just about anywhere in Avon from here. Can…
We enjoyed staying at this condo resort for 4 nights. The resort was conveniently located near the Beaver Creek Ski Resort. We really liked the fact that our room had a kitchen stocked with dishes, utensils and small appliances. We were super happy to have the covered garage parking as it snowed every night while we were there. The outdoor hot tub was relaxing after a full day of skiing.
We are a Marriott Owner and exchanged thru interval. The room we got at Falcon Point was a substandard, outdated and weird - room 512. I asked Joyce ( front desk ) to exchange it with another room and she said she can't and told us to call back on Monday. At around 1030 in the morning while we were snowboarding at Beaver-Creek, Mark from Falcon Point called me ( after verifying from Joyce) that he can transfer us to the new room in 4th floor and asked us to go down and transfer our belongings ASAP. So we had to stop our snowboarding that day, making the kids so upset that we had to go back to the hotel early. On our way to Falcon Point, Joyce called me and told me that she can't give us the room because somebody is checking in for that room and hang-up on me.
The condos/apartments are well equipped with everything you need for cooking. Everything is clean and well maintained. We were 3 in the 1 bedroom apartment, the room is spacious and the sofa bed was very comfortable. Friendly staff & great pool/spa area. I would go back anytime.
If you are a budget conscious family this is a good place for you. It's dated but not worn out. It's convenient to town and shopping. Nice pool for kids. Very close to the big park and lake. It is not glamorous like the other places close by but, again, it's a LOT cheaper than the time shares just down the street or up the mountain that cost tens of thousands of dollars more. They are having a resale promotion right now. Very affordable so I hold check it out of you are looking in this area but don't want to spend $40,000 to $200,000 for a time share
