We stayed a couple of days at the Westin and they were the very best. We arrived late on a Thursday night after 12 hours of driving. The valet staff were there to meet us and were the most helpful and kind staff we have ever experienced. They helped to unload our cars (yes two), took care of our ski equipment and just took care of everything. They even helped on Christmas Eve to get our Christmas gifts our of the car so Santa could visit our room...we have a little one that still believes in Santa. The room was fabulous and looked exactly the way it was shown in the pictures! The fitness center and hot tubs were top of the line and just what you needed after a day of skiing. Our dog "Bear" was very welcome in the hotel and was greeted by the staff by name. This was the best pet and family friendly hotel we've ever stayed at. If you are looking to ski in Vail/Beaver Creek. I strongly recommend you stay at the Westin! I have stayed in Marriotts around the globe and this was by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at.

This was a great place to stay. Very Convenient to Vail and Beaver Creek with a shuttle that takes you to both places. The room was nice with a great view! The entry area has Photo Concierge TV ad and we used them to take family pictures which turned out amazing. They were quick to answer and came out the same day! Naomi took our pictures. She was very sweet, flexible with our family and had great ideas. I was very hard to chose from all the great pictures but thankfully they made it easy for me to get them all! I would recommend them to all who want to remember their winter vacation!

Our annual Labor day weekend visit. Incredible place with incredible people. River out back, and a short walk to the activities at the lake. While there are no bad rooms here (that I have experienced), there are some types (west side, corner unit) that are just spectacular, and I always want to revisit those rooms as much as possible. Special shout out to Kevin C. for graciously working with me to always make this happen. This busy holiday weekend, he introduced us to 410A/B, similar to 310 but with vaulted ceilings, now one of my new favorites. One of the reasons I keep coming back and referring the Westin to friends. This weekend, I had both friends, and a relative on honeymoon, join us last minute due to travel issues elsewhere. Jose (I believe) at the front put the newlyweds into a spectacular (351) corner suite overlooking the river, without us even asking . The best part, as we came up to the desk to get their keys, he was beaming with excitement to let us know about the room! Pool and gym are top notch. Insider tip- Visit the taco food truck on the path across the railroad tracks. The Marriott Titanium benefits are great with the breakfast voucher (and upgrades).

We hosted a destination wedding for our son and daughter-in-law at the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, Colorado in mid-September, 2021, and were extremely satisfied with our accommodations and overall experience, even more than we could have hoped for! Approximately 140 guests attended the wedding. We were fortunate to work with Jing Butler as our primary liaison and wedding coordinator as she proved to be responsive in meeting every query and concern throughout the entire planning phase of the event and the day of execution was flawless. One of the primary reasons we selected the Westin was the fact that everything for the wedding weekend including the room accommodations (handled by Sally Corcoran who went above and beyond to meet our every request and need!!), spa services for the wedding party, the welcome party, the wedding ceremony-cocktail reception-wedding reception, to the farewell brunch on Sunday morning was provided on site. Every staff member we dealt with was friendly and went out of their way to meet our needs, and the food was phenomenal for every event. We would highly recommend this Westin for anything from a complete destination wedding to a relaxing, spoiling getaway!

It is a beautiful property, but the front desk personnel and manager definitely need more training. As soon as I found out that our room was on the first floor, I tried to switch it to another floor. I was told it would cost me an additional $300.00 a night. We were the first to arrive in our group of 70 rooms, so this easily could have been done. After going in the room, we found that the toilet would not work, the patio door would not lock, and we had some insects in the room. But the best thing was early the next morning when 30 feet from our window it sounded like a front-end loader was going to come into the room from the construction work outside our window. Unfortunately, we had to stay there another four nights.
