First visit. What a charming little place. Never sat behind a bar to wait for our table before quirky but nice. The staff were friendly and attentive the food was fantastic value. Sunday lunch very tasty meat done to perfection an all in all excellent meal with coffee included. Will certainly be on our list to visit again.

The welcome is always a big smile and you can sit behind the bar to have some home brewed beer, from there own brewery next door. Well you try the drinks you can order home cooked food if you have any problems with your food just ask and they will change it or bring you more you will not go...

From the outside a great looking period building. Ample parking. Into the pub we go and it reminded me of walking into grandmas house. A bar separates two areas with seating. The glasses on shelves above a mantle piece. A very warm welcome from the gentleman behind the bar. We arrived early for our booking, not a problem. We sat...

Very late arrival due to travel problems, the staff were happy to make arrangements for this. Comfortable, very clean rooms and a lovely breakfast. We will be back, hopefully in time for an evening meal and a taste of the their own beer.

Visited here with my partner on a Thursday evening. We got a deal through groupon. When we arrived we was greeted with a warm welcome, from a very nice woman who worked behind the bar. We ordered some drinks and sat by the open fire. The place is very much like home. The food was very good and plentiful. Both...

We visited here for a wedding about 10 years ago, and were looking forward to an overnight stay again, as it was lovely. It's in the middle of nowhere, in a peaceful part of Lancashire, so don't expect a town nearby. The accommodation is attached to the pub, so once you're there you can sit down, drink, eat and relax....

Recently called in here for a meal and had the phesant, plus some chips, excellent meal and good beer. The atmosphere is good and the room had a genuine log fire, just the kind of place to make you feel homely and the staff are nice. Have visited on several other occasions and the standard has always been good. Just...

The accommodation is at the rear of the pub/restaurant beside a huge car park. There are open views of countryside and its location is very pleasant indeed. The pub itself is and olde world former coach house and is full of character. Apart from breakfast, I didn't eat there so cannot comment on food. The breakfast was very nice though....
