We would thoroughly recommend Ashdene House, from the warm welcome by Annette and Gill on arrival with tea and cakes through to the very comfortable and well appointed room, in a lovely location. The garden is beautiful, the breakfasts are perfect, and the two ladies are excellent, with a detailed knowledge of the local area.

Absolute first class stay! The two sisters were perfect hostesses and made our stay perfect in every way. Breakfast was amazing loads of choice, rooms clean, decorated to a high standard the best b & b I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in a few! Worth a visit highly recommend this gem.

We stay in a lot of B & B's and this was the best so far. When we arrived we were made tea and cakes, and Gill explained places to go on a map which we used for a few days. The room was excellent and also the breakfast. The area around the guest house is also good. We would... More

By far and away the best B & B we have visited. Gill and Annette welcomed us into their home and that's just how it felt - home. Tea and cake on arrival; breakfast with home made bread and marmalade, plus local produced bacon and sausage with Glamorgan veggie sausage for my wife. We could rarefly manage lunch as we... More

The two sisters who own & run the business have done a great job in modernising an older property, but this does mean at least one of the bathrooms is a little cramped. However there is much to make up for that - the place is a clean as a whistle, the decor is very nice with lots of little... More

I travel a lot and I have had my fill of 5star hotels. I love this place! I wasn't going to write a review as I didn't want others to discover it! Gill and Annette make me feel welcome when I return. The breakfast is excellent, and the room (I was in number 4) is very comfortable. I always judge... More

As a solo traveller, it is sometimes difficult to find a place to stay where you can feel completely comfortable. No such issues at Ashdene House. Gill and Annette are exemplary hosts: friendly, welcoming and making every guest feel important and special. On arrival I was offered a lovely cafetiere of coffee and some delicious homemade cake and this level... More

Great hospitality. Lovely bedroom, living room and dining room, and an excellent breakfast. We had a lovely view of a park opposite our window, and the garden is very pretty. We would thoroughly recommend this B and B to anyone who wishes to stay.

Excellent B&B. Very friendly and welcoming hosts in Jill and Annette. Comfortable and well equipped rooms. Breakfast was very good and good range of options on offer. Good local advice on evening meal venues and loaned us a torch to see us home in the dark from the pub too. Very accommodating and kindly provided secure storage for our bikes... More

We had a very comfortable stay and our hosts were very welcoming. The room was very good with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. Highly recommended and very good value. This is a very good place to tour around Norfolk from and is in easy reach of the bustling town of Kings Lynn.
