Great little boutique hotel. Big, comfortable rooms. Awesome staff. Killer vibe for relaxing at the bar/ soaking in the pool after a long day at the beach or day-tripping to the cenotes. Good food. Short walk to the Tulum nightlife. I'll be back.

We had a great stay at Teetotum hotel! Richard and the staff were extremely friendly, and happy to chat to guests. Richard went the extra mile and helped us organise a day trip to Chichen Itza and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. This place has a very relaxed vibe

I was disappointed with this place, the worst hotel we stayed in during a trip around Yucatan. The slightly tatty hippy chic decor didn’t make up for the failings of the room. The hotel is within hearing distance of the main highway through Tulum and our first floor room gave

hey steve we are really sorry you didn't find teetotum to your liking. it's a bit unusual to strike out on so many levels as our guests almost exclusively love our humble hotel (even at $160 per night) we had a sense when you both arrived that you were disappointed right off the bat- first tells can explain a lot in any event, we will be more vigilant in trying to find ways to make all of our guests satisfied, improving our physical plant, turning down our music and checking for all kinds of disturbances. again we are sorry for disappointing you and i promise we will work that much harder to make as many improvements as it takes. hope things smooth out in london! regards, richard

My friends and I stayed at Teetotum hotel over NYE holiday week. We didn't decide to go to Tulum until fairly last minute and found that most places on the beach were either booked, too expensive, or had bad reviews. We were at first a little bummed but decided to book at
