Bungallow Style Hotel as expected. Very weak service. For 160 USD per night you expect minimal but fair service but here staff is not attentive or nice (here they are arrogant) and the hotel.stopped in time. Not sure when they last maintained this hotel or did any type of.renovation. compared to other hotels around this is expensive. Today i am...

We had the bengalow Zarfil, with a sea view. It was very pleasant. Staff was very nice. You have no electricity in the room during the day. At night, it works again, but you only have one plug that you want to use for the ventilator… ! The pizza place next to it is excellent, and you get 15% if...

We stayed at the crystal room last month and enjoyed our stay. Adriana, the GM, is incredibly kind and goes out of her way to ensure a pleasant stay. I found all other staff to be equally friendly. The room was very nice and I loved the romantic feeling of the lofted king sized bed. It was hard to leave...

We stayed at Posada Lamar a couple of weeks ago and we were very pleased to be upgraded to a beach front cabin, Rubi. It was incredibly comfortable, which I was not sure would be the case in an eco-lodge. Solar panels and sea water are used for ecological reasons, no A/C or fridge for obvious reasons but didn't need...

I traveled here with a friend (she had stayed at Posada Lamar before and loved it). We had an amazing time and the entire staff is SO incredibly friendly. We were upgraded to the beach front room with breathtaking views and couldn't be happier with our stay! Flavio and Adriana were so kind and happy to suggest restaurants and activities...

The hotel was very cute and the staff was nice and helpful- Adriana and Flavio gave us some good tips. We unfortunately arrived when the sea had seaweed so we didnt get to enjoy the beach...but.. they invited us to their private cenote for the day and it was magical!!! (We were all alone!) The only thing missing was AC...

The accommodations at Posada Lamar were absolutely amazing. Flavio and the staff did a wonderful job of offering up tips on where to go during the day, where to eat, and making our trip so enjoyable. Breakfast every morning was delicious and we would love to go back!

Rustic bungalows, beautiful setting. About a 5 minute taxi ride into town, very close to some great restaurants further down the beach. Staff were very accommodating, able to provide us with a room after there was a mix up with our reservation. We were given great recommendations for food nearby by one of the team, which were brilliant. Only negative...

Posada Lamar is located about 10mins drive from the Pueblo, the town center. The beach is semi-private. Most others on the beach are staying at one hotel or another on it, but of course others come. We were there in late June/early July...the beach was drowning in seaweed and the ocean was the regular blue (not turquoise as we'd hoped),...
