I stayed at Shambala in July 2016. I loved this place. It is simple, no fluff, piece of heaven. Disconnect, read a book or ten, float in the ocean, or walk the most beautiful beach Mexico has to offer. Our room as we described it, a deluxe tree house. Beautiful view of the ocean, with the ocean breeze cooling us...

My family did not plan to stay at Shambala. We actually booked a cabana next door but when we arrived, we found out it was permanently closed. I should mention, I was traveling with my husband and my three children, the youngest of which is under 2. We were tired, hungry, and a little nervous about being in a foreign...

My company, Fit & Fly Girl, held its first Tulum retreat at Shambala Petit Hotel in early June. I scouted the retreat last year and after viewing several hotels and villas in Tulum, I chose Shambala Petit for its charm and central beachfront location. Sixteen women joined me at Shambala Petit for what I can only describe as a magical...

I signed up for a Fit and Fly girl retreat which took place at the Shambala Petit Hotel. As soon as I walked thru it's entrance, I felt transformed. Shoes off for a week, the welcoming smile of it's owner, Roberto and his staff, exercise everyday with a group of amazing women, incredibly delicious food, and the best massages ever...

Can't say enough about all aspects of this resort. Food staff hospitality casitas all exceeded expectations. As a male I was a little leery of a yoga retreat but I went to support my wife of 28 years and it ended up being one of the best experiences of my life! Thank goodness I didn't chicken out. Already booked for...

This quaint hotel is the most peaceful place I've ever been to. As soon as I arrived I was welcomed with warmth and kindness by Roberto. After a long trip and a much needed vacation, I instantly felt relaxed. The amenities are great and the food is healthy and delicious. It is a great place for healing as well. Roberto...

A song by Three Dog Night sums it up pretty accurately if you ask me :) read on if you don't know the lyrics :) We did not know the place, stumbled into the hotel via yoga retreat advertisement and I can't stop thinking about how good the Universe was to us that day - it was exactly what we...

A group of 20 yogis stayed hear for a week and had an amazing retreat! There are many pluses and some unfortunate minuses. Food was amazing! Fresh made juices, more vegetarian dishes than I ever imagined and delicious deserts! French press every morning by 6am - thank you Isreal! Our group of 18 stayed here for a week for a yoga retreat, and we all enjoyed ourselves. From the first greeting when the front door was opened to the last goodbye, everything was perfect. Roberto, Mari and the staff are so hospitable, and everything is done right. The hotel is right on the beach, has a nice sized yoga...
