Went for my friends wedding and overall we had great service from beginning to end. My first complaint however would be we did pay for an ocean view room but we’re placed on the first floor so we were not able to see the ocean and it felt more of a garden view which was disappointing And I feel like that should of been mentioned while Booking that that is a possibility of that happening.Another thing is the entire time we had a very loud screeching noise coming from what I think was our pipes the entire time which got annoying after awhile. We would have put in a maintenance request but we weren’t sure exactly what it was. We had the pleasure of having Eleazar as our waiter two nights in a row and he was amazing. He took really good care of us and was super friendly! Ester and Ricky who were our day and night time entertainment were great as well. They had great energy. Overall our stay was a fun time!

Well, it is a beautiful resort. The beach is amazing, but I think all the beaches there are probably just as nice. The food here is horrible. For an all inclusive I was so disappointed. The worst was the room. Only one day did they clean the room, and the toilet clogged up EVERYDAY! I guess you aren't supposed to flush toilet paper, so we didn't but every single day of the 5 days we had to have them plunge the toilet. Just book another resort. There are plenty. Oh and do not go through Lomas travel for transport. We paid for a private transport and they didn't have anyone to drive up so they gave us a cab. Horrible.

We saw this property when we visited in 2014 and decided we wanted to come back and stay with kids, as it's a very family friendly resort. Had a wonderful welcome from Luis and 7 days of beautiful weather to enjoy the beach - lovely white sand, which they diligently clean each morning to remove the seaweed that washes in with the tide. Meals and drinks were good, on par for all-inclusive resorts and well-presented. A very popular wedding destination, as we must have seen at least 6 or 7 different weddings in the week we were there. I want to give special mention to Gabriella at the spa who went out of her way to help me with my nails. Lastly, a big thank you to Janet, morning manager Patty and Chef Letty at the World Cafe for being so accommodating. The service each morning made breakfast such a pleasure, especially with our little one! Thank you again to all and hope we will see you again! Highly recommend Dreams Tulum.

I stayed in a suite. This resort is better than numerous bad reviews. Pool and beach were great. You can walk on this beach and swim in salt water with a sandy bottom. There is some seaweed but it is cleaned daily by machine and with rakes. My Room was clean, large and well situated near the main pool. I’m not a buffet lover and the the breakfast buffet is passable. There are no other breakfast options other than room service. Dinners were good especially portofino and tepanaki table(book it on arrival). The beef quality at Bordeaux wa# not as good as my pre-covid experiences at other resorts in this family. The staff works hard to make you happy. The entertainment team were better than most others I’ve seen at the 6 other resorts from this family that I visited (since 2015). Ester was especially noticeable for energy, professionalism, fun. The evening shows and other options like yoga were as good as any I’ve experienced. I don’t why I saw bad reviews before I came??? I came expecting some minor glitches due to worldwide supply chain and also re-employment issues in recovering resort industry.

AVOID!!! Overpriced, poor quality, dated hotel. This place is beyond overpriced and barely meets my expectations for a 3 star. We came here for a wedding, otherwise I would have checked out after the first night. Food is mediocre at best, service is lacking, And mixed drinks undrinkable, Rooms are boring, there are 2 pools and kids are in both at all times. The positives are: Beach is nice (but not spectacular - only a small part doesn't have rocks as you enter water) and the grounds are quiet and well maintained. 20+ years ago this was probably a very nice place, but that time is long gone. We were given an extremely musty smelling room with 2 small beds rather than the king bed we booked. They ending up moving us to a room w no balcony that had a view of the parking lot via a small window that didn't open and refused to compensate us even though we paid for a balcony room with garden view. The reception desk was confused that we didn't have a balcony - I don't think they knew the hole in the wall room type they gave us existed. Below are the numerous poor experiences during our 3 night stay - which I think is rather impressive to have had so many bad impressions during such a short stay: Asked for salt and pepper during one of the dinner events for the wedding and I was given a napkin with a mound of salt and told several times they didn't have pepper. Elevator is scary - got trapped inside and there was no button to open it up had to call my boyfriend to let me out. Broken hair dryer & no iron - called several times and went to lobby 2x to request these. Hours later still didn't have so we went to the first wedding event with wrinkled clothes. No hot water in room, at most warmer than Luke warm, little to no water pressure, 2nd day took 5 minutes with faucets fully open for any water to come out. 3rd day safe malfunctioned for no apparent reason. Cleaning staff 2nd day ripped our iPhone charger out of wall and broke it, they tried to hide it in a drawer. We put the do not disturb on for the rest of the time. The breakfast buffet is beyond subpar - worst I've ever experienced. The cocktail drinks are yucky, lower end alcohol & they use stevia in all the mixed drinks you can't request regular sugar. For wine they have limited selection and it's extra to have nice wine - everything here they try to upsell and my friends who paid more didn't get anything better. Want an espresso? Well they will point you to the Nespresso machine. Pay for the preferred club and think you will get something nicer? Keep dreaming :) Don't come here and if you already booked and can cancel - do it and don't look back.

We had a great time with our family with small kids (7, 5, 3). We had a family suite with adjoining rooms - one with a king bed and one with two queens. We had them bring a rollaway so each kid had their own bed. The rooms were clean and the mini bar was always stocked. Housekeeping came kind of late in the day for us, but they did a good job. The kids loved the kids club- they got to do crafts, go on nature walks, bake cookies, and play in the waterpark. The ladies who work there are wonderful and our kids asked to go back every day. The food at the resort was just ok, which I find to be typical of all inclusives. Our favorite meal was the night when they had a Mariachi band, ladies on stilts, and a cocktail making demonstration. The evening entertainment was really nice and our kids really enjoyed the acrobats and the kids club disco party. The beach here is very nice, they do a good job of controlling the seaweed. The water was a bit rock in spots. We loved that we could walk a good ways down the beach and there are no other resorts nearby. The service was good, both at the restaurants and on the beach. The shallow pool was a great option for our kids as they could touch in most of the pool and the water was a good temperature. The hotel helped us call a taxi so we could visit a local park, and that was very helpful. Thank you to our travel advisor TripGuy Travel for suggesting this resort, coordinating a perfect room for our family, and for setting up private transportation to and from the airport. We use TripGuy for multiple trips a year and they always find us great places to stay!

Went for a wedding. Service was excellent. Grounds were very nice. Only went to 2 restaurants and buffet. Food was average. Bar and entertainment staff and performances were excellent. Beware of swimming areas. Bring water shoes as many spots very rocky. Overall had a nice experience and would return.
