A wee way on the edge of town but really not an issue as only a short walk to lots of choice for food, or you can eat in at the restaurant which was very good. (Closed wed) . Breakfast simple but fresh with a choice of eggs anyway or fruits and yogurt and muesli, nice coffee. Thank you to the... More

Out of the way hotel, but pleasant location and staff. Breakfast was good, but not over the top. Rooms were clean, bright and king size bed was very comfortable. There is no TV, which I found was nice. Their wifi was good. Grounds are jungle like and you will find chickens and rooster on the property. Also have local Mexican... More

If you're to stay in the town of Tulum for a couple of days, then stay at Don Diego de la Selva. It's a bit off the center (but within 10 mins walking distance), but it's worth it just to escape the noise and busy nightlife of Tulum, without actually having to sacrifice it all together. It's the best of... More

My husband and I stayed here for 1 week and we were quite happy with our stay, but there are a few minor changes the owners could make that would make the stay much, much more comfortable and convenient. Overall the hotel is well worth the money... it's actually shockingly affordable. It's about a 10 minute walk before you start... More

We've stayed at Don Diego several times. Couple or family visit it has always been the perfect spot to stay while enjoying Cobá, Tulum and the cenotes in the area. Great service from everyone on the staff, healthy and delicious breakfast, comfortable rooms. Highly recommended, we've enjoyed it every time and will come back indeed.

Nice room, very quiet and clean. Delicious breakfast (papaya jam was the best) and great service and just minutes away from the Tulum center. Great for relax and to be away from the crowded town and beaches.

You've got to enter into this place to feel out of the city. You're in the middle of a beautiful vegetation and the premises make you feel in Polynesia (some bungalows with thatched roofs) Rooms are well decorated and the welcome is fantastic Try to taste their cuisine also. You're in town so you need transportation if you want to... More

This was my second or third stay and as always the rooms, staff and food were excellent. What I also really like was that the hotel was on a quiet side road. I checked in quite late and one of the owners was there and I asked if it was too late for dinner. He asked what I want and I... More
