The jungle atmosphere is really good. Staff is relaxed and very helpfull. Management did everything to make our stay perfect. Drinks and food at the beach, anything possible! Would love to go back. Very good price quality ratio !
We have stayed at Dos Ceibas two times now, and feel that it is everything wee look for when we visit Tulum. Why stay in a concrete high rise hotel when you can stay in cabañas that exude the feeling of Tulum's off the grid...More
I can't say enough good things about dos ceibas. I will start with the friendly and trust worthy staff. All of them were above and beyond cool from the manager, Miguel, Aldo, Francisco, and on. They all speak fluent English as well which is very...More

Great that you're going to Tulum! As Lin said, there is the possibility to go by taxi (and there you have the option to rent a private taxi for approximately USD 100 for the vehicle or take a shared one for about USD 40 per person - the shared taxis will stop at some other hotels on the way). The ride takes about 2 hours. To find a taxi, just look for it online, you can compare different companies.
A much cheaper option would be the bus (ADO) for about 120 pesos. It has several stops on the way and in Tulum it stops in the center. From there, you would probably have to take a taxi to get to your hotel, depending on where it is. If for example your hotel is ion the zona hotelera, the taxi will be about 20 USD.
Enjoy your stay in Tulum!
