We just returned from 5 nights at Ana y Jose- 3 adults and 2 young children. Overall, the hotel is beautifully designed and detailed. The grounds are tasteful and elegant, the rooms are very attractive plus add a little bit of romantic extras like candles and nice linens. Traveling alone with my husband I may not have had the following... More

Any y Jose is a small, perfect gem; simple, elegant, and totally integrated into the surrounding environment of beach and jungle. This is a warm, authentic place, and it made for a totally restful and soothing holiday. As befits Tulum -- one of the few places left on the Mayan Riviera that hasn't been turned into a strip of interchangeable... More

My husband and I got married at Ana Y Jose on February 3rd and would highly recommend Ana to any bride! The whole experience was more magical than we ever could have imagined. I was nervous to be planning a wedding over email and thought we would have to sacrifice some level of quality since we could not be in... More

We spent a week at AyJ with another family and everyone had a great time. The hotel is small and the kids were thrilled to be able to go back to the room by themselves or go to the bathroom by themselves. It is very self-contained and the pool area is literally right next to the restaurant and the rooms... More

My girlfriend and I spent a wonderful week at Ana Y Jose. Our room was really beautiful....marble floors, rustic high palapa roof, immaculate and well maintained . Lovely romantic touches such as candles in the room and shower. Staff was helpful and accomodating. Regarding the restaurant.....I felt the food was for the most part mediocre and expensive. Service at breakfast... More

This was our 2nd time at Ana y Jose's and once again we stayed in one of the two little beach front cabanas. It's a lovely place and will continue draw many satisfied guests. We had only one complaint... For $260. per night lodging, without meals, we really found it inappropriate for them to charge extra for bottled drinking water... More

We hoped to spend a night in Tulum and were very lucky to find Ana y Jose. We love small hotels, and this one offered everything except for a large new pool. The food was excellent, the service great, and the beach magnificent. There were a few comparable hotels along the southern beach area, but all were superior to the... More

I was at Ana y Jose's for a week with my family at Xmas 2006. I've been there before, it hasn't changed much. The pool is clean but small, the beach is terrific. Rooms are adequate (not all have AC so check in advance if you care). Our shower had barely enough hot water, we had to ask for sheets... More

Planning a celebration for my boyfriends birthday was made super easy at Ana y Jose. My boyfriend is from Europe and is such a spoiled one. He demands and expects only the best and is quite hard to please. I was nervous he wanted to do a Tulum stay. Naturally, I wanted his birthday to be spectacular and JACKIE helped... More

We just did our wedding at Ana y Jose, and it surpassed all our expectations. Jackie, Oscar, Garduso, Rene, and all the staff there made planning it easy, and we had an amazing time. All our guests were overwhelmed by how beautiful it was, how much there was to do in the area, what an incredible time everyone had. We've... More
