This was a horrible experience. I booked a room on a third party site. They put us in a room across the street from the amenities and the other rooms. I would not recommend this property. The room has no view and it’s right next to the check in desk.

We stayed at casa de agua for almost two weeks, the stay was lovely but what made it better is our butler Rafael he was amazing and made sure that everything we needed was there, his service was second to none and if I’m going to come back here it has to be with him he is the best!!

The hotel standard was excellent. The room spacious and well appointed. Every single member of staff were polite and attentive particularly William who looked after us at breakfast and other times of the day we visited the restaurant. The food not just here but everywhere in Tulum was first class. Prices very high everywhere but so was the quality. Always a sun bed on the beach which was cleaned daily as the seaweed problem is prevalent but totally out of their control. They work tirelessly to keep on top of it. This is an issue along the whole coastline.

We came here with our family and a toddler and had a great holiday. The breakfast was very delicious and we had great service especially by William who served us every day. Great access to the beach and amazing tacos.

Ana y Jose is a nice hotel by the beach in Tulum. The position is great , the staff is nice but the services are not as good as we expected. First of all, not all the superior suites have pools even though on the internet that’s what it is shown. In the end the receptionist was nice and let us change the room. I must mention that their spa services look great but are far from great. Extremely expensive and the massage was definitely not what we expected. I definitely not recommend the spa. The breakfast is average, nothing special. The staff at the beach is extremely nice and professional. Thank you Andres for your amazing services and all the colleagues who were really amazing.

I loved everything about this place. The Ocean view room was amazing, huge, comfortable and clean, with a nice view. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the ladies in reception/bell boys/front door staff. The restaurant was fine, had a nice view of the ocean, and most of the staff were friendly (except one older "larger" man who seems to work the restaurant in the AM and then the beach club). The location is very close to other beach clubs, bars, and restaurants. However, it is hot/humid even at night and if you plan on walking its 15ish minutes to some of the places further south (but we walked back most nights without an issue, and you can walk on the beach during the day and get to everything too). The staff at the front door also called us trustworthy taxis with ease and we were able to use the same driver a few times after we got his WhatsApp number (even got a cheaper ride back to the airport). Before I came, I had some concerns about noise I saw from other reviews, but it wasn't a problem at all. I think it must depend on the room you stay in (we stayed in Catalina and didn't hear anything the entire time). The resort was clean, quiet, and beautiful. It may be on the more expensive side, but we loved it and I'd book it again in a heartbeat.

Great resort. I am currently staying in a beach front unit. The view is gorgeous. We had dinner at the restaurant last night and it was delicious. Staff are very welcoming and efficient. Tulum is a beautiful area, and this is an excellent place to stay.

I have been a member here since October and absolutely love this place. The food and drinks and beach club are amazing, but their staff really is the best part! Yoshira has been helping me since the beginning and she is overly accommodating, professional, friendly and personable. I recently met Melissa who is new and she is an absolute sweetheart. So kind and helpful! Damian is a wonderful server and he’s very knowledgeable about Mezcal. I showed up late one night when I was having a rough night, and the staff made me feel very comfortable. I love the property as it also has a pool. A great choice in Tulum!

Lovely hotel in the center of Tulum Beach - one of the few we found that allowed kids! Quiet and relaxing but in walking distance to beach clubs and party places! We stayed there for 4 nights with our four year old daughter and it was a great place - even for her. She had the pool mostly for herself while we could relax right next to the pool watching her. First night, we had a superior garden view room and it was amazing! Spacious, top notch interior, beautiful architecture and innovative decoration! Highly recommendable and just US$ 150 more than the Garden View room. Unfortunately the bar on the opposite side of the street plays extremely loud music in the night (even though it was totally empty). Hence we switched rooms and got a normal garden view room which is still charming, but in no way on eye-level with the superior room! So if you don’t intend to sleep before 1am, take the superior room. It’s really worth it! The service however was awesome. Particularly “Pau” was very helpful and caring! She arranged some private trips for us and found a cheap airport transportation for us! Thank you, Pau, for making our stay at Ana y José a memorable experience!

First, this restaurant is beautiful. Second, the food was very good. I had strawberry mojitos, grilled shrimp, and the lemon pie. Rolando is an excellent server. He provided great advice on what to order, was very attentive in his service, was very kind, friendly and professional. I am so glad I came here for my last night in Tulum. The ambiance, with the sound of the ocean was really relaxing. Next time, I think I’d stay at this hotel. It looks amazing m, the food is amazing, and the staff is amazing! Gracias, Ana y Jose (y Rolando).
