The Beach Tulum just made my trip absolutely memorable. First the location is perfect near all restaurants and nightlife. Service and communication with the concierge staff and room service staff was great from beginning to end. Both restaurants Ziggy’s and Fresco’s are great and have great food options. We got a room with a rooftop deck and tub with a beautiful ocean view and we loved the property so much and how quiet and well kept it was that we found ourselves staying in and enjoying the hammock and laying out on the rooftop most of our trip. We had room service breakfast every day during our stay and it was a perfect balance of delicious juices to tasty chilaquiles or oatmeal. Overall a grand peaceful fun experience in beautiful Tulum. Thank you to all staff and at The Beach. See you guys soon.

Hotel's Favorite
My husband and I enjoyed our first few days as husband and wife at The Beach Tulum and we are already talking about booking again next year. This adorable boutique hotel puts guest experience on the forefront, focusing on even the smallest details to create a wonderful and personalized stay. The entire staff was friendly, polite, and so very helpful. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Uli and Barbara, who had both been in touch via email and WhatsApp in the week and days prior to arrival to ensure we had everything we needed set up to make it an unforgettable stay. They helped us pre-book a sunset couples massage (which was amazing!). After we checked in, Uli gave us a tour of the property, the neighboring restaurants (Ziggy's and Fresco's) and then finally our room. Our room was immaculate and so beautifully decorated. We opted for the Junior Suite (direct beach view and access + plunge pool) and it was perfect! The plunge pool was always very warm and we had our own reserved beach bed (enough room for 2) just steps away from the sliding glass back door of our room. There were beautiful views of the ocean from any point in the room and outside deck. The beach is also very private and monitored by security (who were all super friendly and even helped us spot a couple of osprey sitting atop of the hotel roof on our last day there). There is also full bar service on the beach, with a simple text via Whatsapp, you could have whatever drink you wanted delivered right to you. We were also presented with a complimentary welcome beverage when we first checked in (a pineapple + mezcal drink that was delicious!). Now back to our room. The staff knew it was our honeymoon and had decorated the bed with rose petals and had left us a very sweet card + a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate. The room had a very powerful, temperature customizable AC unit + fan directly above the bed which kept us nice and cool at night. The bathroom was spacious and had a great soaking tub (enough room for 2) and a rain shower. On top of the amazing room, the hotel boasts 2 of the best restaurants in the area. Seriously - we are big Yelp fans and both Ziggy's and Fresco's rated as the top 2 spots in the area. During your stay, the hotel provides complimentary breakfast at both restaurants. We tried breakfast at both and loved our meals. We also ate at Ziggy's our first night there and the dinner was also amazing! Lastly, the location is ideal. Very close to all of the exciting restaurants, shops, and nightlife spots and even very close to a nearby cenote (about a 5 min walk). The hotel provides free bikes and we biked all across town and also went over to check out the Tulum ruins. Our last 2 days at the hotel, we walked on the beach and looked at all of the other resorts. The Beach Tulum by far has the most serene and private beach, but also the best looking resort presence. It is well-manicured and provided both sun and shade thanks to its beautiful palm trees sprawling the beach. All in all, we were very sad to leave The Beach Tulum this past Saturday. We have now found the perfect slice of heaven in Tulum and can't wait to come back!

We were ready to get outta town and Tulum was the place to go... vetted out places to stay and The Beach seemed like a perfect fit. Adult only ✔️ On the beach ✔️ I chose the rooftop room bc I really liked the jacuzzi up top, and his only request was a hammock (✔️). You know what... I never even used to rip too jacuzzi, but we did use the hammock. The cool breeze was beautiful and perfect out on the patio. Breakfast was included, either Frescos or Ziggys were our options. 5 out of 6 mornings we ended up at Ziggys, we really enjoyed the breeze that came through. Additionally, the food was great, service was awesome. Rooms were nice a clean and spacious. We had cleaning everyday and also turndown service most nights. Would definitely recommend and revisit!

Literally a feet-in-the-sand beach place, whether you’re at the beach, in the restaurant, or on the way to your room. Very attentive and friendly staff who will be trying to cater to your every need. Rooms are clean, but what we didn’t understand was why the plumbing is so bad that we were asked not to flush toilet paper. Sounds like a joke, but in addition to verbal instructions there is a sign right next to the toilet. Never heard of, nor experienced something similar ever! The hotel itself was more simple than I thought it would be with rooms being rather small. The beach “chairs” are missing any covers, and opportunities to hide from the direct sun are limited. The pool is small and the area including its small bar was not busy with guests ever. The (very dirty) street alongside the hotels is busy. You cannot hear it when you’re in an ocean-front room, but the noise is dominant in the pool area and at the adjacent restaurant. You will find quite a few good restaurants fairly close by. Watch out for Sargassum season as you will not be able to access the water! I was told it wasn’t as bad as last year, but this was a beach holiday without swimming!

Fantastic! The sign at the check states, '2021 Best of the Best' and it 100% lived up to that. We stayed in the ocean room with a main floor and upper roof deck that has the jacuzzi. This was so much fun as we used the jacuzzi every night and it is a wonderful place to turn off the lights and stargaze. The property is immaculate with the capacity to hold only a small amount of guest, which makes it feel like you have the place to yourself. The check in and service was so easy and provide you with a WhatsApp number to text for anything you want or need. We did use this option and they are very quick to respond and provide you what you ordered. The rooms are so nice and cleaned twice a day. They provide you water in the room and a place to fill up in the lobby. The breakfast was included and you have the option of two restaurants onsite, both were fantastic on food, drinks, and service. The hotel is very secure, only allowing for hotel guest. They provide you with your own daybed on the beach it the hotel is located next to great restaurants, day clubs, and activities. The spa and gym onsite were very nice with the usual workout equipment and sauna, steam, and cold plunge which were a game changer after a night out in Tulum. Oh ya, yoga is also included every morning and they provide you a yoga mat. The yoga studio is very nice and the yoga class was great. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again 100%
