This is a great place to stay while in Tulum with awesome staff (Paula) and a perfect location. The dorms are open and airy with screened windows allowing cool breezes through at night. Lockers to store valuables and hot showers with good pressure make me pretty happy, they checked that box! They have mattresses that are vinyl coated so you...

Our second might in tulum after a terrible first night in an other hostal. The hostal itself is beautifull. A large main dorm with a high sealing with plenty of ventilation. One small bathroom upstairs and if this occupied, you have more showers and toilets downstairs. The lights in the main dorm go out at 11 and your the dorm...

One of the best hostels we have found. Wonderful clean rooms and kitchen and great hang out spaces. A nightly bar that does not disturb the rooms. We wish they would make something at breakfast for vegans.....free breakfast we never get to eat. Even the pancakes have eggs...which is totally unnecessary .... That is our only complaint ....other than that...

I really can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is outstanding, comprised of genuinely kind and helpful people, and they made Shéck feel like home from the first moment we walked through the gates. The beds are comfortable, rooms and facilities are clean and well-maintained. Showers are hot with good pressure, and I never had to wait...

Sheck (I think it means mixing.. as in the people are a mixture) was recommended from a traveler down the road. We were not disappointed! My stay was in the huge dorm room. It is a unique building, and I appreciated that. Beds were average, lockers were available, usual hostel stuff. The whole dorm is screened windows, and I slept...

It's clean and feels kinda tropical, quiet enough to sleep through the night, comfy beds, hot showers with good pressure, great breakfast cooked fresh for you, free water, good kitchen, cheap bar.. Not much else you need!

One of the more reasonably priced hostels in the area (the ones in the guidebook have pushed up prices significantly). Good vibe generally and helpful staff. As with most hostels in Tulum breakfast is included in the price which is good. We paid 200 per night for a private room with bathroom - worth checking for the occasional promotions or...

We were in a private room with shared bathroom- room was fine, bed was terrible, Nice and quiet at night so you can sleep. Bathrooms are ages away and showers are outdoors with only a shower curtain which sometimes blows in the wind. Hostel staff are helpful when you ask questions, not a very social hostel despite having a bar...

Really enjoyed the hostel and its vibe. Short walk from the bus station. 20 minute walk to supermarket. Good facilities - shared room, kitchen and bar area. Not a big fan of the bathroom hut being outside, but it was clean. There is an area to park your bike, a great way to get around town. Short bike ride to...

Very friendly staff but did not like the hostel. Stayed in a six bed durm that was more like a tool shead with beds. Rained on us at night (water got in from all around the room) and was a fairly long walk to the toilet and the showers are outside.... Stayed there one night and will not stay there...
