Nestled between the Caribbean Sea and the jungle of Tulum, we seek to provide a unique experience where art and nature intertwine to create an environment to reconnect with oneself. We have built elevated wooden paths that twist and turn, which allow trees to grow freely and let the jungle’s native inhabitants to move undisturbed below. All premises are lit exclusively by candlelight, creating a natural ambiance perfect for a relaxing retreat or a romantic getaway. AZULIKS's beach is a space to experience nature at its best, offering its guests a freeing place to enjoy themselves where clothing is optional. Within our premises, you can discover 48 unique villas, a contemporary art gallery, a House of Ancestral Medicine, a spa and wellness center, a fashion boutique, a beauty sanctuary, a beach club, and three restaurants -Mexican, Japanese, and farm-to-table- that offer the most elevated gastronomic experiences in Tulum.

The concept of Azulik is unique and amazing, you need to understand it to actually enjoy it. There is almost no light or electronics in any room, just candles which makes it super romantic and private to connect with your loved one, the views are mesmerizing and the sunrises are the best part. Azulik as a whole is beautiful and magical for a romantic getaway, but if you are looking for commodities or for a place to go after a party night it might not be what you expect. Azulik is truly a place to disconnect from all the material things of life and connect with your inner soul and your environment. I honestly loved it, the only cons in my opinion were that some of the concierge staff were very inattentive, they would forget room requests and I felt uncomfortable several times when I was walking around with my partner because they would constantly ask me if I was guest multiple times in a non approachable manner, I stayed for 5 days and I had to deal with this issue every day, but besides that, the rest of the staff, especially the lower staff was impeccable, the spa service was amazing, the beach service as well, the cleaning staff was extremely helpful as they were the ones that helped me with my room requests when the concierge would forget. Overall, I give Azulik a 9 out of 10 just because of that little issue, but I think it is totally worth what you pay for, the upper staff definitely needs to improve their service and their way to approach the guests which are paying to feel comfortable but the place itself is amazing. I totally recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Azulik thanks to Miguel who made sure all our expectations were met above and beyond! Starting at reception to the very last day made sure we were satisfied! The service was great, the food was delicious and the design of the hotel was magical! Definitely would come back!

This is our second time staying with Azulik and honestly it gets better and better each visit. This place is WOW, amazing to say the least. The workers do nothing but cater to you make you feel so special and welcome. The most romantic gate away you can plan. Come see for yourself you won’t be disappointed.

Ok, so here’s the deal... I had high expectations, really high. My girlfriend’s friend raved about Azulik, then I went to the website and I thought “you have got to be kidding me... no place is ACTUALLY that beautiful.” Boy, was I wrong! The intense beauty is only outmatched by the hospitality. Brandon, the night manager, met me after hours without complaint, but instead with an inspiring attitude. What a brilliant and creative young man- an asset to any company! Vicente, the day manager, also brings the magic- what a warm and gentle soul... so friendly and accommodating. My day at the spa doing traditional Mayan sessions orchestrated by Mari Carmen absolutely blew me away. I have new friends for life now, and I not only believe that is the way the Mayan Ancestors would want it... but it is how Manager Jonathan has trained his people to be as well.

I may be a bit consumed by anger while still here for last night at Azulik as what it was supposed to be a stay at a leading supercharged hotel in Tulum - it turned into disappointment and total waste of money. What you will get; - perfect setting for Instagram pics with number of people wandering around with their cameras to get their pics - like lunetics glued to their devices, beware - training into holistic experience, connectivity with nature and dont forget to plug in your sences (when eg you think room is too dark, because living in dark is a gift?) - drugged or intoxicated guests fighting in rooms next door at 01am - loud music club nextdoor - water runs occasionally - quite good, actually very good massage by seaside (++) - friendly crew at beach bar - USD 1,500+ daily charge which is absolutely overrated What you dont get: - shower!! - Azulik has a revolutionary concept to showering as there are no showers in room (when was the last time I checked hotel had shower in their standard list? 🤯) - but a shallow basin and cocunut will do your douche! That one is interesting and if you travel with your loved one, this one will put you at test - management attention - despite complaints a response time was 24hrs+ - Ok yes, we got upgrade for one night and one complimentary dinner but still communication is the key and they fail here too. My personal conclusion : I will always remember Azulik as the place to witness home violence first time in my life (a French couple at 01am and I suspect cheap drugs had to say something into it ....). Azulik is also a first hotel in my life to leave bruises of guilt to fail in a trap of the most overrated and overpriced comedy piece of my life (for prices of this sort imagine London hotels, Maledivea villas, Courchevel top 5, not mentioning Thailands top spots). But stop dreaming, this is gutter of new Tulum ... Tulum changed. Not to good I am afraid. And though there may be cool and professional resorts (group BeTulum and NoMad, Rosewood and perhaps some small boutiques outside of Tulum centre), Azulik stands out as a symbol of the dark side of the new reality - pretentious and shallow! Some pics attached, it does look tempting but dont you dare :-)
