Piedra Escondida is unbelievably beautiful. The views of the Caribbean sea are absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel to couples. My girlfriend and I had a wonderfully romantic two nights here and would return in a heartbeat. Our room, #4, had panoramic, unobstructed views of the gorgeous blue green water. There are two balconies, with chairs and a hammock... More

Mom and I spent 6 days at Piedra Escondida in November, to celebrate her 70th birthday. I had been to Tulum several times and stayed at Piedra before so I knew what to expect but she hadn't been to this part of Mexico yet and was game for an adventure. I chose Piedra for this trip as they have a... More

Loved our stay here- everything about it! The location, the staff, the views! At only 9 rooms, you get great service and feel special- no fighting over lounge chairs here! Adrian was wonderful- told us about the hatching turtle eggs which I missed by 1 hour-(it was okay- would have had to be up around 5am) The large family room... More

Beautiful and romantic property on a secluded cove of sand on one side and in the heart of the beachfront shops and dining on the other--best of both worlds! Easy bike ride to town and to the ruins. Stellar service. The gentleman at the front desk went out of his way to ensure that our trip was perfect, even tracking... More

We loved that this place only has like 9 or 10 rooms so the whole time you are there you feel as though you are on a private island oasis. We got room #4, also known as Superior Room A which has 2 balconies and a perfect ocean view. No matter which room you get though they all have a... More

Thank you so much for your nice words I take the message to remind our customers that in this part of the coast we have no electricity. The Piedra Escondida hotel produces its own 24/24 energy through a wind and mechanical system. For this reason, the proportions of air conditioning service only at night We hope to see you again... My cousin and I stayed here for 3 nights in late September. We were initially impressed with the amazing location with the private and crystal clear beach. However after a few short hours we realised it was the food and staff that also really make this place a stand out from the rest. A special mention to Marcelo for the... More

A remarkable hotel in tulum. Have sea front rooms with balconies and hammocks. Great breakfast. if you're a clean freak, this is not the place for you, because the entire place is on the beach itself. Perfect for couples who just want a quiet place to relax.

After several days at our resort we opted to rent a car and drive to Coba for some exploring. Was so happy we did. Well to say the least we worked up an appetite which led us to the jungle / beach area that is lined with adorable hotels, smaller shops and yummy little eateries. Piedra caught our attention. We...
