We stop here for lunch in our way to visiting the Tolum beaches. The area has a beautiful view of the ocean and nice private beach. Very relaxing atmosphere. Lunch was fine and the service was fine. They have convenient parking, a must in that area of Tolum. It looks like a pleasant place to expend a relaxing vacation. Many... More

We stayed 5 days at Piedra Escondida to enjoy our honeymoon and it could not have been better! If you just want to relax and hide from all the stress out there this is your place: every of the 8 rooms comes with a veranda including seats, hammock and a seaview, lower level partial but the beach is only a... So we decided to ditch the tourist route and rent a car to drive to Tulum from our hotel in Playa Del Carmen. Best choice we could've made. After we visited the ruins we drove down the rough back side street along the ocean and came across this little gem. Right on the ocean with local lizards running around, this... More

We just came back from a getaway at Tulum, this place was nice. The hotel offers only a few rooms, all of them beachfront with great views of the ocean, at night you got to bed with the sounds of waves. Cabins are nice, but do not expect AC all day, it is only available at night, and water is... More

We stayed for seven nights and were super pleased with the service, location and room. The restaurant was great too. The location is great because it is walking distance to several great restaurants and yet you can get into town easily enough. Our room was super clean and spacious.

We were able to get room 4 which is closest to the beach and has an absolute amazing view of the ocean. Breakfast was included and the service was beyond great. We had air conditioning at night which was perfect because that was the only time we were in the room. Minimal bugs in our room... I only had to... More

We spent 3 days in Piedra Escondida with high hopes this would be the "perfect" place for our vacations. One outstanding issue (the hotel can't do much about it though) are the seaweeds that took control of the Beach. Despite the efforts to clean it up, we cannot really swim there and as there are no pools around the Idea... More

Enough cannot be said about the kindness of the staff at this hotel. Everyone adds to the experience in a way that makes you feel welcome and glad to be at their hotel. Adrian at the front desk along with the maintenance man helped us out of a jam when we first arrived and lightly backed into another vehicle. Could... More

First the good -- the rooms were lovely and spacious with nice bathrooms. The hotel has its own private beach cove, though the water is rough. The hotel restaurant was great with excellent food and service. Go there for a meal or two even if you don't stay at the hotel. The restaurant will serve food and drink to your... More
