We stayed 9 days and loved it. The room was beautiful. The restaurant perfect. The staff, outstanding. We stayed in a large garden side room, upper level, with wrap-around porch, hammocks, and view of the beach. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Really friendly. I cannot help but repeat how nice they were. Food was excellent. We... More

Hola! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We love that you really "got" ZAMAS- a unique boutique experience for our guests centering on customer care. I especially appreciate the insightful description of the beach- that it's lovely to look at and swim in and sit on, though you might like to walk further south to some... More

My sister and I were booked for a week's vacation in Tulum but missed our connecting flight from Toronto. It was to be a healing holiday for both of us but soon turned very stressful. Upon arriving at Zamas a day late we were welcomed by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make us feel at... More

My friend and I stayed at Zamas for four nights and had a great time. We were in one of the jungle cabins near the pool, which turned out to be the perfect location--a minute from the beach, much quieter than the waterfront cabins, and more privacy. Food and drinks were great, beach was beautiful, and overall, it was a... More

LOVE. The property took me back to magical memories of visits to my grandparents home. The staff was friendly and there was a very personal feel to everything at Zamas. We were in an Ocean Room Cabana and they took extra special care of us. I loved the pool, the ocean dips and the atmosphere in the dinning room. I... More

Everyone says that for their wedding, but I couldn't imagine a better location for that special day. The team here were so great to us and our guests and were so accommodating and great. Thank you so much Zamas for everything you did for Meaghan and I.

Zamas is a great small hotel, family friendly from which it is possible to go easily to the maya site, to go snorkeling or to the cenotes, etc.

My husband and I dined at Zamas on a day trip to Tulum. We had a really wonderful experience! The staff was very attentive and there was a sweet little beach dog - LuLu, who we fed pieces of our steak from our tacos (which were well-seasoned and yummy BTW). The location is spectacular - right on the beach and... More

I went in April, stayed in a traditional beach cabana room with no AC and it was fine! I'm not a swimmer so the rocky ocean didn't bother me. I laid on the sandy beach under a palapa umbrella, read and watched the Brown pelicans dive into the sea. Super peaceful hotel on its own cove. The majority of the... More

We had a wonderful stay at Zamas - from the minute we arrived we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The bungalow we stayed in was an impressive size, simply but beautifully decorated with a local touch, and we had the most amazing views of the beach and ocean. The food was good and the location perfect for making... More

For our second visit to Tulum, Zamas was one of the first places on my mind. The restaurant view is unlike any other as it sits on a stretch of beach. The fresh juices are delicious along with the ceviche. We sat here and had the place to ourselves for the most part. A must see stop!
