We had a wonderful stay at Zamas - from the minute we arrived we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The bungalow we stayed in was an impressive size, simply but beautifully decorated with a local touch, and we had the most amazing views of the beach and ocean. The food was good and the location perfect for making... More

For our second visit to Tulum, Zamas was one of the first places on my mind. The restaurant view is unlike any other as it sits on a stretch of beach. The fresh juices are delicious along with the ceviche. We sat here and had the place to ourselves for the most part. A must see stop!

I highly, highly recommend staying at the Casa Vallejo if you have a big group. The homey feeling you get from this place is insane. It's beautiful, clean and super comfortable. We had a couple chefs from the hotel come in and cook us dinner one night which was one of the best meals I had the entire time there... More

Once you get started down the beach road in Tulum, you run into Zamas. You have a ton of choices for food and we decided to stop here. They even have a little parking lot across the street (bonus). Ordered the empanadas, fish, burger, ceviche and salad. All wonderful. Located overlooking the water and beach, perfect for lunch. Free wi-fi.... More

I recommand this place for a couple, very nice, calm and pretty. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant served delicious food (morning to night). The only downside is the beach, it's water is not very clear, we never went for a swim there. If you walk a down the street the beaches are a lot nicer. That's the only... More

We're staying here now and thoroughly enjoying ourselves. Beach cabana is spacious enough for my teenage son and I. The people working here are helpful and sweet. We can hear the waves from our room and the ocean view is glorious. Hot, for sure, but we're just fine without AC. Mosquitos aren't too bad. Beach isn't awesome for swimming, but... More

Beachfront bungalow was great. Brand new pool was so nice to relax in! My favorite part were the tiny hermit crabs scuttling all over the beach. The only thing that could make this place better was a hair dryer (I know, sorry) a stronger fan for the hot evenings, and it was quite difficult to swim in the ocean comfortably... More

My room was in a garden facing the Caribbean Sea...(oh, glorious sunrises!). While it was a simple room, it incorporated bits of pieces of Mayan culture mainly in the the use of indigenous materials. I was fascinated looking up at the thatched roof design. My bed was sooo comfy and it seemed like I swam in it (I'm 5'4). I... More

So after escaping the stress of work, Tulum and its beach sites seemed to be the perfect thing to do in orded to find some peace for the heart. Little did I know what a blessing my trip would turn up to be. Found this little piece of heaven they call Zamas, which literally is like living a dreamy song.... More

Zamas was a really disappointing choice of hotel for our stay in Tulum. Unfortunately everything felt a little old and past its sell by date - from the staff to the restaurant to the beach to our room. When we arrived we were greeted at the reception and told our room wasn't quite ready so we had a drink at... More
