My friend and I stayed at Zamas for four nights and had a great time. We were in one of the jungle cabins near the pool, which turned out to be the perfect location--a minute from the beach, much quieter than the waterfront cabins, and more privacy. Food and drinks were great, beach was beautiful, and overall, it was a... More

LOVE. The property took me back to magical memories of visits to my grandparents home. The staff was friendly and there was a very personal feel to everything at Zamas. We were in an Ocean Room Cabana and they took extra special care of us. I loved the pool, the ocean dips and the atmosphere in the dinning room. I... More

My husband and I dined at Zamas on a day trip to Tulum. We had a really wonderful experience! The staff was very attentive and there was a sweet little beach dog - LuLu, who we fed pieces of our steak from our tacos (which were well-seasoned and yummy BTW). The location is spectacular - right on the beach and... More

I went in April, stayed in a traditional beach cabana room with no AC and it was fine! I'm not a swimmer so the rocky ocean didn't bother me. I laid on the sandy beach under a palapa umbrella, read and watched the Brown pelicans dive into the sea. Super peaceful hotel on its own cove. The majority of the... More

I had higher expectations for Zamas than delivered. The view there is incredible! We watched a fisherman make a catch with his net. But the service is awful and drinks are just ok. Tried to order a flavored mojito from the menu and they said they only have one kind. But the people that ordered behind us were offered three... More

This is a lovely place. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. BEAUTIFUL on the beach setting. Creative menu. (You MUST try the Cameron's Pil Pil.) And kids can play on the beach in front of you while you sip your cocktail. The only sad part was that the beach was very rocky and had a lot of seaweed.

Visiting Tulum and decided to eat at zamas restaurant. Toes in the sand. Breathtakingly beautiful warm and friendly staff. Good food. Sweet reggae music playing over the loudspeakers. Wish I could have stayed at their hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at Zamas - from the minute we arrived we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The bungalow we stayed in was an impressive size, simply but beautifully decorated with a local touch, and we had the most amazing views of the beach and ocean. The food was good and the location perfect for making... More

For our second visit to Tulum, Zamas was one of the first places on my mind. The restaurant view is unlike any other as it sits on a stretch of beach. The fresh juices are delicious along with the ceviche. We sat here and had the place to ourselves for the most part. A must see stop!

I highly, highly recommend staying at the Casa Vallejo if you have a big group. The homey feeling you get from this place is insane. It's beautiful, clean and super comfortable. We had a couple chefs from the hotel come in and cook us dinner one night which was one of the best meals I had the entire time there... More
