Stayed for 4 nights with two friends, nice hotel, with plenty of sun loungers on the beachfront Nice toiletries provided, shower water is extremely salty though (perhaps common in the area) Waiter service available on the beach Breakfast included in price and is decent (tip to be paid though separately) As it is in the jungle area prepare for salamanders...

I really like this place for their beach. The ocean front rooms are literally steps away from the water. The beach is really nice and clean with turquoise blue water. But this pretty far from rest of the hotels and Tulum town (~30 minutes by taxi from ADO bus station) Room: We had an ocean front room and we certainly...

We made our reservation for this hotel well in advance as it has good reviews, is situated in a beautiful location and is somewhat reasonably priced compared to many other hotels in Tulum with that type of beachfront access. Planned to be the highlight and grand finale of our Yucatán tour our spirits where high as we pulled into the...

Rosa del Viento is the perfect balance of fancy, but not too fancy. Everything is perfect -- well decorated, tasteful, clean, comfortable -- without trying too hard. We paid a little extra for our ocean view room and it was worth it. So close to the water, view of the ocean from bed, sleeping to ocean sounds and breezes, hammock...

We had come to Tulum as we wanted to see the temple on our extensive Mexico trip. Our travel agency assured this was the best hotel around. When we arrived nobody bothered to tell us we were in a different time zone, from Chichen Itza, nor was it in our itinerary. This turned out to be important because supposedly we...

While Tulum is somewhat well known--what is lesser known is that you fly into Cancun and take an approximate one and one half hour taxi or shuttle ride to your hotel. When I confirmed with Rosa del Viento I tried calling them to discuss a transfer and was repeatedly got a voice mail with a full mailbox so was unable...

Tulum is, for us, a much better alternative to Cancun. The facilities are more "rustic" and less extensive than Cancun, but all the better for it. Very vibey with a younger, eco friendly focus. This is a matter of taste of course.... Rosa del Viento is at the very extreme of the beach area, making it more difficult to share...

We visited Tulum for the first time in November 2016 and chose RDV based on reviews. The hotel was even better than expected. Our garden view room was literally a few steps from the ocean. The room was VERY clean, spacious and quiet with heavy sliding screens, COLD air con (didn't need all the time) and sense of privacy. The...

My family and I visited rosa del viento last October. I had my doubts about staying at a secluded hotel without TV or any other type of entertainment close by, and that is why I booked for only 3 (out of 10) night at rosa del viento. Big mistake!!!!!!! We had a wonderful time at rosa and would definitely go...
