Las Palmas Maya is a welcome retreat in the jungle of Tulum. With beach access just across the road, you are only footsteps away from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! The recent addition of 24hr electricity is a huge amenity, offered at only a few beach zone hotels. Our newly renovated communal kitchen and lounge offers guests the opportunity to keep a few groceries on hand for small meals or snacks, and a wonderful place to relax, read, or chat with other guests. Our rooms have been completely remodeled and are fresh, clean and airy. Some of the other amenities offered are private bathrooms with pressurized hot water, free wi-fi, and bicycles available for rent. In addition, Las Palmas Maya is pet friendly!

If I could give Tom and Las Palmas Maya 10 stars I would. I've been coming here for years and met Tom in 2014. My mom had recently passed away and my two sisters and I desperately needed a vacation and recharge after everything we had been through. I found Las Palmas through

Las Palmas Maya is an awesome option for staying near the beach. Everything is super clean and very well maintained. The rooms are just the right level of rustic to make it feel like a real beach vacation, and I love the convenience of a shared kitchen and fridge! Tom is an

I stayed at Las Palmas Maya last December and had such a great time I came back for 2 weeks this year too! LPM has a great location on the beach road ( close to Sanara - the best for yoga!) with a lovely, well cared for garden set back from the road (quiet!) with hammocks and

Las Palmas is in the heart of tulum yet still tucked away. It’s right across from the beach by la eufemia, one of the coolest bars in town, and about 10-15 minutes walk to the gitano/heartwood spots. Despite being one of the lease expensive spots in the area, the rooms were

Those staying at Las Palmas have access to the beach across the street at Om. There is shade available, but a tent...don't think so. There is another place (Also Las Palmas) about a couple miles south towards the ruins that is a tenting (Glamping) place.

This is not the place if you like to hang out in your room during the day. Besides the beach is too nice to miss! We were comfortable at night with the fans going.

Hey Mark, While we do not have AC in any of our rooms, we do have ceiling fans and powerful box fans in every room. Just don't blow the roof off ;)
