After two nights at a wonderful hotel in town, we moved to My Tulum Cabanas for three nights over christmas. It was horrendous and a completely disappointing way to spend Christmas. The room we were in had no air-conditioning and was stinking hot making it challenging to sleep or even relax. There was no door on the bathroom, just a... More

We were staying in the town of Tulum for a few nights over the new year holiday. We had not booked a hotel prior to our arrival. Our mistake. The beach area was completely booked other than maybe two rooms that we found for $$$$. We set out going from hotel to hotel to see if there was any availability.... More

I really enjoyed my staying at My Tulum. The place is laidback and has an incredible atmosphere. The owner is super friendly and helped my friend and I to extended our days in Tulum by finding us a place to stay as the cabin was booked up.

We actually booked this place by mistake, our friends booked the hotel next door but this was one mistake i'm happy to have made. The accommodation is not 5*, but you know that if you see the pictures but the reception is 10*. I forget the ladies name who greeted us (my memory not her) but she was simply awesome!... More

If you're going to stay anywhere on Tulum beach make it this place! It has heart, character and hosts who really care about you as a guest. It also has the perfect spot on the Tulum beach near the best restaurants, beach taco bars and a lovely stretch of beach! We booked online through the website and didn't really know... More

This was my third trip to the area, & this is right in the middle of everything-on the beach side, near many good restaurants (directly across from Hartwood), next to great taco bar on beach, etc. Good sized room with healthy breakfast made daily by super host Alberto. Bikes available, but walking is fun.

My husband and I recently visited Tulum. We were traveling with a friend and we reserved two rooms. We reserved on the website and then reached out to them to find out if we needed to pay a deposit and if so how much. We each emailed several times and heard nothing. We emailed a week before to say that... More

Stayed here with a friend for 4 nights and were made to feel right at home. However, this isn't the place you want to be if you aren't good with either sleeping on the beach or cold showers. I found the room to be too hot / and with too many mosquitos / pests for comfort. The cold shower is... More

I stayed this past weekend with a friend. The place is definitely rustic and if you are the kind of person who likes camping you will have no problem here, that's all I will say about that. The hosts were so kind and gracious I wish I could give 10 stars for service. We were the only guests and felt... More
