Tulum is not a cheap place this gets obvious from the moment you take a look around and find out that a beach dress from a street seller costs around 200 dollar. I mention this because at the fist sight Hote Amoreira does not seem to be a cheap option in Tulum. But for a Hotel at the beach IT... More

Loved it!!! We were supposed to spend 8 nights in tulum at the amoreira hotel but then we décided to extend our stay to 14days, the place is perfectly located, the beach is amazing and the Room Was perfectly clean, I would recomand this place for the location, quality of service ( very discreet staff and professional) but also for... We originally booked two nights at Hotel Amoreira, but ended switching to another hotel after one night due to our experience. Upon arrival, the check in desk was unattended, but a woman who was sitting and smoking cigarettes at one of the nearby tables came over and said hello. It was unclear whether she worked at the hotel, but she... More

We stayed four nights at this great little spot right on the beach in Tulum. All of the rooms here are elevated off the sand. It feels like you are the Swiss Family Robinson! There are elevated walkways between the buildings. There is a very large elevated common room above the kitchen for lounging, visiting, or taking a break from... More

The place is spectacular and everyone including Mayumi and Angel were incredible guests. Highly recommend the hotel and accomodations to anyone. Great for all occasions. The service was top of the line and so were the services provided, always on point and ready to help.

We stayed for 5 nights on our honeymoon in March 2016. It's chilled no frills accommodation on the beach. Really close to some great restaurants which serves local fresh and high end food. Relaxed & casual staff are really helpful. We spent our days people watching, swimming, eating. Mozzie nets around the beds, kitchen where they put out a simple breakfast,... More

We've stayed at many places in Tulum & this is a typical beachfront property. Thatched huts with mosquito nets & fans, 24 hr. Electricity (however you can't use hairdryers or curling irons at night ) and its right on the beach. I thought it was pricy for what you got it- minimal accommodations - but clean & tacky decor -... Hotel Amoreira is old school Tulum. Tree house style shacks on the beach with hammocks on the porch. This hotel is quiet. It does not have a restaurant or bar, but that is ok because there is a great one right next door called Taqueria La Eufemia. Really mellow vibe out at beach area with mattresses in the sand at... We just got home from our stay at Hotel Amoreira from 2/11-2/17. On our last day, my husband locked the keys in the rental car. The staff were extremely nice and helpful in this situation. One man stayed past his shift being over to help. We almost didn't make it to the airport in time, but I guess that staying... More

Overall this was a great stay but there were a few things that we can definitely say were not worth the price. We stayed from the 18th - 23rd of January, the weather was great and we only had 2 days that weren't full of sunshine. The staff were lovely and actually ended up giving up a little discount because... More
