This was a delightful stay in what felt like a treehouse, just a few units made it feel very private. The beach bar was close by but closed promptly at 10, and was a fun place to people-watch as well as eat their fish tacos. Staying at the edge of the jungle and walking out on the sugar sand beaches...

Before we arrived at this place we had been telling everyone we were staying in some Robinson Crusoe type beach hotel - which is a very apt description - but doesn't get at just how perfectly lovely this place is. From the moment we arrived we were quite happy with the place. The bed is very comfortable, the staff are...

We were just strolling along the beach without anywhere to stay and accidentally stumbled into Amoreira. Mayumi (who works on reception) is the most lovely, kind & helpful person you'll ever meet. It's worth staying here just to meet her!! It's a lovely place with only about 8 rooms. There are lovely sunbeds (with cushions) on the beach. You get...

We stayed the 2nd time in this hotel and simply loved it, probably even more than the 1st time. The beautiful strech of white send beach is one of the best we have ever experienced (been to more than 140 countries). The breakfast is a treat and the staff is so friendly, such a difference to the huge and noisy...

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite. The two nights we stayed there we were bitten terribly by bed bugs. There was little dots of blood all over the sheets, and our bodies were covered with bites. We caught a few of them and confirmed that they were bed bugs. The people working there tried to tell us...

It's my second time there. The frist time I only stayed 2 nights, because I was attending a yoga retreat at another hotel and they couldn't accomodate me for the 1st and last nights of my stay. I decided to come back, first because I booked my vacation late and because of Thanksgiving most of the sea view rooms where...

The salt water: I was not aware that there was not clean water in the shower. This is absolutely not fair not to mention it when we book. The breakfast. I was quite surprised of the very low quality of the breakfast : no fresh orange juice, no bananas, no eggs, no good bread. For an hotel at this price...
