The hotel enviroment is made to make you feel at ease in full relaxation. The rooms, chilling places & hammocks are just perfect. The location is easy and practical and the people is the nicest of all. Quite helpful to find the right places to visit and moving around.

Awesome spot in Tulum town! Beautiful gardens, EPIC HAMMOCKS, and an adorable dog. The rooms are very cute, with lots of little touches like incense and decorations. The wifi was a little slow and there were pretty insignificant issues in the room. But this isn't a luxury beach hotel, it is a great place to come home to after a... More

Very friendly and personal level of service. The hostesses know you by first name and you will get plenty tips and information custom-cut to your likes. Garden is a great place to lounge! Bungalow is a basic accommodation with rather small double bed and without AC. Bathroom sink has no hot water and water pressure is very low. All sounds... More

My husband and i travelled here as part of our honeymoon and absolutely loved this boutique hotel. Firstly its in a fantastic location so close to the bus station and right near the main strip with all the good bars and places to eat. Secondly, it has the most amazing relaxing garden with day beds and hammocks which are great... More

My friend and I stayed for 4 nights in a bungalow with plenty of room for both of us and all of our traveling gear. There were two beds with one being lofted which was what we had requested, although we had to have the second bed made up because there was no linens at all on the mattress when... More

My wife and I are in our sixties and spent a week at Secret Garden. We had made the deliberate decision to base ourselves in the town of Tulum rather than in a beachside resort and were glad we did. A short bike ride or a taxi for less than a fiver will take you to the beach and the... More

We had a great stay at Secret Garden. The staff was super helpful and the grounds were gorgeous. I loved waking up in the morning to the sounds of all the crazy birds. The first room we stayed in had three fans, but was still really hot. A bit dank and humid. The last night we were there, we stayed... More

What a sweet little place! We had trouble finding it and at first glance it seemed a bit sketchy ~ but no, not at all. The rooms were simple but clean. The staff was excellent. Itzel gave us great suggestions about where to go from public beaches to restaurants and Joshua directed us to a restaurant that served some of... More

When planning a trip to Tulum you will be faced to make a decision (if you wanna stay in the Hotel Zone right by the beach or in Tulum town which is between 3 to 12 km away from the beach, depending on where you want to go. Both have their pro and cons and the contrasts of the different... More
