We ended up here for one night when our hotel in PDC evacuated due to hurricane Zeta. Instead of sleeping on a school floor, we headed south to Tulum. We were very fortunate to find this gem of a hotel. Despite the fact that we were staying only one night and that the hotel was suddenly overflowing with guests, the service and freindliness, from the very kind lady at the front desk to the incredibly hard-working guys in the restaurant, was top notch. The room was very comfortable and quiet, and we really enjoyed the rooftop pool. We couldn't have found more gracious hosts for our little hurricane detour. Thank to you all.

Stayed in this hotel in town for an evening before staying on the beach front. The service was outstanding. Spent the evening in the rooftop pool enjoying the drink service. Meant to explore downtown that night but I got too caught up relaxing at the hotel.

Nice hotel in a really upscale , growing neighborhood Aldea Zama. The staff was nice and friendly but I also think some need to be trained. I especially loved Tammy! She went above and beyond every time. If I decide to stay here again , I will check and make sure Tammy works there. Only thing I didn’t like is I went on their side to book and didn’t get breakfast like everyone else that booked on TripAdvisor or elsewhere. When I complained about that to valleria the front desk girl she dint even try to compensate a day or even ask her manager to. I would book on here if you want free breakfast. Overall clean hotel, housekeeping is great. Neighborhood is safe. Friendly staff breakfast is really good with freshly squeezed orange juice

I never leave bad reviews but I felt strongly about leaving this one because the hotel needs to know that they need to do better. All of our issues were not COVID related so that cannot be an excuse. We opted out of doing an airbnb because we wanted a luxury stay instead. It was not luxury. 1) No coffee machine 2) No drinking glasses 3) No hair dryer 4) No control over the AC 5) Empty hair conditioner bottles in the shower 6) No water ( can't drink from tap ) 7) No robes 8) Credit card machine wasn't working so I spent an hour calling my bank thinking my cards were compromised! 9) Dirty bathroom sink 10) No Tulum info package in room..had to call down to front desk twice to get the wifi password. 11) Fire alarm was beeping due to low battery when we first entered. They took it down and didn't replace with a new battery. 12) Went to rooftop for breakfast. Some other guests were getting theirs for free. We didn't...no idea why. 13) Pool beds were disugusting...stains. 14) Pool water was not cold and refreshing. I know this place because I lived nearby for a few months and was SO hoping for a much different experience. As, I said...I never leave bad reviews.... but for $150 a night...very much not worth it. :(. On the plus side...the staff was very friendly and the bed was very comfortable.

Hotel Stay (Four Stars, scrolled down to see why I averaged it to two stars) To be fair, I enjoyed my stay here in a suite. We were able to check in early at 11am and chilled on the rooftop and napped in a cabana from our red eye flight. Complimentary rooftop breakfast was enjoyable. My friend and another couple complained about the constant construction noise, but I got up early in the morning so didn't take notice of it. Whenever we asked for towels or water, it was promptly delivered. Payments (Zero Stars) I corresponded via email to book a chichen itza tour for 2. $200 was charged to my card and email confirmation # sent. We were picked up in the morning and when we arrived at tour agency, the man informed us that we haven't paid. I pulled up confirmation # to show the man and he says that doesn't prove anything. Ok... we whatsapp Naay to sort this out, they mentioned that their reservations team isn't working right now and cannot help us. Well, we decided to pay for the tour AGAIN and get this sorted out later on. We knew our credit cards would cover our backs. So my friend proceed to pay $90! So the hotel upcharged us $110 and refuses to refund back the $200 saying that tour was booked and it was a "miscommunication". I really don't want to overreact and say this is a SCAM at the same time I don't want this to happen to others. Honestly, this can happen at any hotel and as someone on vacation, I want to help out the local economy and people, but not at the expense of getting ripped off and being deceived. Overall, most people at this hotel were genuinely nice and it was a great experience. Unfortunately, the whole prickly payment issue definitely marred our stay here. I'm hoping that you will have a better experience.
