I’ve been to O’Tulum two times in the past year — by far the best hotel in Mexico. The food is out of this world and the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you. Not to mention you take a short bike ride to their beautiful beach it really is a beautiful retreat. Highly recommended.

I promise you this will be the best, most helpful review you read for O tulum. I want to start off by saying it feels absolutely wrong not giving them 5 stars because everything that was in their control they did absolutely perfectly, but unfortunately there are some circumstances out of their control which made the experience slightly less than perfect. Food: If you opt to have breakfast included with your stay, you will not regret it. The breakfast menu is extensive (eggs, pancakes/French toast, smoothie bowls, traditional Mexican dishes, and they will also whip you up anything you ask for). TRUST THIS KITCHEN. We ate probably 15 meals here and did not have a bad bite. Ceviche, tacos, shockingly even the pasta was delicious. The only thing we ate that was

Construction site right next to room really disappointed the photo says it all they don't tell you this on website or booking. We stayed a week and weren't allowed to get a refund or able to swap rooms as fully booked or even check out early so not fair on customer

A lovely hotel with a wonderful ocean front. It’s a little rough round the edges but comfortable. We chose this hotel because of the sea view and the reviews that said how quiet and peaceful it was. It’s location is off the main highway run of the huge resorts, it is off track and much smaller. Ideal for us and we loved the quiet location. Large houses and other smaller hotels share the same road and coastline. There was a building site directly next door which we tried to ignore as best we could. Adults only, non-party place, quiet and relaxing - just what we wanted. It is this but we got the feeling it wants to be something else, attracting a younger and cooler clientele. At times it feels confused on what it wants to be. MTV chart music playing on tv over breakfast, but the

Nice hotel with friendly, professional staff. However, some things to note. It is located approximately 16km from Tulum downtown and there is pretty much nothing to do here. You have to pay $350 peso to get a taxi each way to downtown for restaurants and entertainment. It is right on the beach (stunning) but you can't swim in the sea as it is too rough and rocky. There is absolutely no shade in the pool area and there is a construction site next door making noise and it's not overly pleasant to look at or listen to. It also left debris in our room pool and plunge pool. The positives are you can rent free bikes and cycle to the neighbouring bay which is rustic and cute (very basic, plastic tables and chairs, hammocks, camping area) but it's quite magical not being surrounded by
