What can I say, Paradise! As always, upon arriving at Casa De las Olas, The stress of New York life is wisped away by that tropical breeze. The friendly Ola greeting from Sam and warm smile just adds to that peaceful feeling. Settling in to the impeccable balcony room looking through the palm trees out onto the blue green Carribean,... Loved our stay at CDLO. So relaxing . Sam was great and turned us on to one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Loved the endless beach, the turtles, the breakfasts, and the warm hospitality. Can not wait to return.

My partner and I booked a few days at Casa de las Olas for a much needed relaxing getaway. We wanted a small b&b experience and to be secluded enough from the main strip of Tulum while still accessible enough to walk to dinner, bike into town, etc. That's exactly what we got. You feel truly removed being on the... More

My wife and I spent our 10 year anniversary at CDLO back in mid-June. Unfortunately it was the only days in quite some time where it rained prettymuch non-stop. But I digress, CDLO is an amazing place that we would come back to in a heartbeat. I have to admit, I was slightly paranoid about being too hot without A/C... More

My husband and I had an amazing getaway trip here that was made all the more special by the personal attention of Sam (the "inn keeper") and Lulu (the chef). If you're looking for great food, great recommendations of what to do/where to go (that includes the best food carts and hidden gems in the area--i.e. not tourist traps), hospitality,... More

At the quiet, far, far end of Tulum, Casa Del Las Olas is a perfect little tropical oasis. With only a few suites it feels exclusive too. Our family of four stayed in the Oceanfront Master Suite. Stylishly paired back with just a peppering of Danish furniture, flowers and a big bank of patio doors to catch the sea breeze.... More

This review is way overdue as me and my husband stayed in January, but it was felt like staying at a hidden gem during one of Tulum's busiest time of year. Perfect place to stay if you want to be close to everything but surrounded by quiet nature, away from the non stop party music. The property is beautiful and... More

It would simply be impossible to capture everything we loved about Casa de las Olas in words. I will do my best to summarize. CdlO claims the last bit of undeveloped beach before the bio-preserve which gives its occupants access to the most tranquil and serene ocean front vistas imaginable. You practically have a private beach to yourself. There is... More

You can only imagine the research we did on where we were going to spend our Honeymoon. We really didn't want to do the boring all-inclusive resort thing as we were looking for something different, where we can actually spend time relaxing. A friend told us about Tulum so we started looking into places to stay. I use Tripadvisor exclusively... More
