Not bad for young and active people. located a stone's throw away from noisy parties, restaurants, shops and bus stops. special thanks to Hotel Manager Mariana Jaret, she helped with the placement and selection of places to visit 🙏🏻🇲🇽
If you like beauty places but don't have enough money, Nina hotel would be a good option to stay if you want to visit La Riviera Maya. This place is definitely recommended. It is also just one block walking to La Quinta Avenida.
Booked a room online directly from the hotel website for one night and paid by credit card but when we arrived, "reservation was cancelled because it was the wrong currency"? I have never heard that one before.
This hotel pool was wonderfully good, deep blue water and clean, My room was big and comfortable, however, it is designed as a spa room. The breakfast good taste with wide range choice. Good place for couple, family or friends.
This is a boutique hotel. Small, familiar, or for couples, its a great option to choose. It has its own pool, only 2 blocks away from 5ta and 3 blocks from the beach. Breakfast is not a big thing (toasts, coffee, juice, basically) but still good. I loved the location, everytime I forgot something i had no issues going back to the hotel walking to get what I need. Theres an Oxxo (convenience store) at the corner, which is also good. Recommended if you're gonna stay in Playa and want something economic and close to the beach
I enjoyed a short stay at this hotel and I would come back here. Reception was nice, the room was great and very clean. The pool was clean. It is so quiet and relaxing to stay there by the pool! The breakfast contains only sugary carbs, so I ate at the mercado across the street. All in all, it was a good experience.
After booking into the sister hotel El Tucan we were sent here for one night as El Tucan had overbooked which from reviews is not unusual. The reception staff were so accommodating and our room although not overly large was clean. The next day we were sent to El Tucan but the rooms were very basic and in fact we decided we liked Nina better so ended up going back. We were lucky we got a deal through booking and only paid £60 per night, but if I had to pay the asking price of £120 I would have been disappointed as there was no fridge, basic facilities although hot was was plentiful. Breakfast was basic continental but OK. Swimming pool was small. The location of this hotel was excellent near to 5th Ave but back a bit near some great restaurants and bars. I believe anywhere you stay in the centre of Playa del Carmen you will always get loud music and this hotel was no exception. There are loads of hotels in the area so would not return here. …
booked the property as part of a package.. stayed about two weeks and need to say the property is nicely located.. they seems to have affiliation to El Tukan Hotels. Pending on your package you could have a small breakfast option right at Nina or do a fife minute walk to the buffet Restaurant El Tuna with a bigger choice.. The rooms are clean and have a proper daily service... If you want to join the beach the work together with Kool Beach Club which is a 15 minute walk.. They say to offer a shuttle but during my stay it was not running... anyhow as I was highly aktiv and do not stay on the hotel during the day or need a lot of beach time I could recommend the place on people have lots of activity i.e. Diving ongoing.. there is also a fabulous base ProTecPlaya nearby..
The place is located next to some nice little streetfood shops, a supermarket and about 10 min to the party hotspots and some nice beaches. The pool area is very neat and quiet. The rooms are of good quality, there is free WiFi.
We got cheap flights and this budget hotel for so little considering it is so nice. It's budget so no balconies or 5* breakfast but amazing air con and I loved the pool area. Had the cheapest chichen itza trip booked through the hotel. The staff are all helpful and polite. It's fairly quiet at night too although I would recommend earplugs as we didn't always keep the air con on to block out the partying people. Hubby found bed hard, I found it fine. Beach towels provided daily. Room services daily if you like and never too early. I loved it and think it's underpriced. Would love to see some cheese and ham at breakfast and would pay much more. It's a fab little place
