We have walked over to Cocos from Petit Lafitte a few times to get a different dinner atmosphere. Very few tables, but we have been lucky. Good, fresh food. Have had coconut shrimp appetizer, seafood stuffed fish, Mango margarita. Only problem was ants that trooped to the

We appreciate your comments and apologize for the situation. Ants are a common problem in this area and we try our best to keep them out of the restaurant without using heavy chemicals that will harm the environment. It's important that you let us know as soon as you see them so that we can take care of the situation immediately. We do hope you come back and let us make up for it. Greetings from the Coco's Cabañas team!

We love the Cocos Cabanas - it is my third stay. Now we are here with our 2,5 half year old daughter. The cabanas and the restaurant are operated by Silvia and Helmut, a perfect couple doing this kind of business, their staff is friendly and must loved for their Mexican kind.

No there is not direct beach access to Cocos Cabanas but there are beaches a short walk away. Food and drinks are totally worth it though. Not sure about renting a chair and umbrella as our resort was on the beach with our own private chairs/umbrellas.
