Hotel La Semilla B&B has a laid-back atmosphere. The organic forms and simple design reflect a sense of Mexican history, heritage, style and simplicity. The property, located in Calle 38, is in the middle of the trendiest part of town and surrounded by jungle. This nine room B&B, adults only, embraces the mystery of its past with the strong artistic personality of its present.

One of the best kept secrets in Playa del Carmen. Great location, exquisitely decorated, beyond excellent service, very quiet well ventilated rooms. The breakfasts were excellent and so relaxing. Special surprise to see the animals outside in the back. We had such an amazing stay! Would definitely come back here!!

Hotel La Semilla is a gem of a hotel, a hidden sanctuary surrounded by international cuisine, and lively shops. You’d have no idea you’re walking into a tropical paradise set in the middle of a bustling city. It was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and the best made to order breakfasts by Chef Gabriel. But a place is only as good as it’s people. I can’t complete this review without mentioning one particular staff member who literally made us feel like we were family, Brito. Brito went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of, a true professional, extremely caring and always had a smile on his face. We also observed him stepping in to help out any staff members before they’d even have the opportunity to ask.We truly admired that. We can’t wait to return to this magical place.

Beautiful outdoor space, foliage. Rooms are very cute and authentic. Not a big box hotel- very homey. Fantastic service. Staff was very nice and we were able to sit and talk with them. Delicious breakfast included, made to order. Beer, wine included.

What a magical experience! Stayed here for three nights and everything was perfect. The staff are so kind and genuine, and everything they do is to ensure you have a warm, welcoming, calm environment. The setting is incredible. It's on the popular Calle 38, but it was never too loud. You have easy access to incredible restaurants and the beach, but without the typical noise of a touristy area. Special shoutout to Chef Gabriel who made us fresh, delicious breakfasts each morning. Even with all of the excellent hotels in the area, I can't imagine staying anywhere else the next time I am in PDC.

We have been there 2 nights during our honeymoon trip and it was wonderful. The room (suite terraza) was really big, clean, quite and very well decorated with taste and love. The staff is very friends and helpful. The breakfast is cooked fresh for you every morning and served in a peaceful garden. You can borrow towels and bags for the beach. We recommend this hotel 100%!
