We stayed in the platinum suite which is a 2 story one bedroom and 2 full baths. Impeccably clean, extremely accommodating staff and perfect location. Check in was very personal and we were greeted by name. They actually called us ahead to confirm what time we would be arriving. Despite being right on 5th ave. it was very quiet, it felt like stepping into a different world. Full time security at the door along with controlled elevator access make it feel really safe. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

My wife and I just stayed at the 5th Ave Hotel in the Diamond suite and it was fantastic. It’s actually a 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen and 3 full baths. Great view of the ocean and a fabulous rooftop deck. Everything seems to be within walking distance. The only downside is no onsite amenities but I would still highly recommend

Great place! Very conveniently located. Easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping, the Cozumel ferry terminal, etc. Very clean, quiet, and grown-up feeling. Half a block to the park, one block to the beach, about 2 1/2 - 3 blocks to the Cozumel ferry terminal. We were initially given the Gold Suite but it did not have a view of the ocean as we had been told our room would have, so upon our request they moved us to the Platinum Suite which had a nice view from the bedroom window of the ocean and ferry terminal in the distance. The rooftop terrace could use some furniture, plants, decor, etc., but we still really enjoyed hanging out there after dinner and watching the sites (ocean, cruise ships coming and going, people on the streets, etc.). Only has 8 suites. Located above Diamonds Int'l. Security guard stationed at entrance around the clock who will stop you upon arrival for reservation confirmation. After check-in they recognized us and didn't stop us again. Management was friendly, informative, and responded quickly to my emails prior to arrival answering any questions I had.

The hotel is within the same block of the ADO station, which is super convenient for those just making Playa a stop when heading to points beyond. Right above the Diamonds International. Your option of steep stairs or an elevator to get up there (elevator works with room key, so to check in, someone must use stairs--mentioned in case your entire party is not able...). The rooms are super clean, nice bedding, decent number of outlets for phone/tablet charging, and a good kitchen. The staff is very nice before, during, and after arrival. When I mentioned we wanted a quiet room (having noticed Fat Tuesday is directly across 5th) so we could rest adequately before an early bus ride, they accommodated that request. Beyond their control, but certainly a fact that made sleeping well difficult, regardless: below our room, on the adjacent lot, are numerous chickens and turkeys. A tom and a rooster spent from 3 am on settling a dispute: gobbling and cock-a-doodle-doodling in a way that kept the 2 guests in the back room awake. Overall a good place to stay!

This hotel is in a super location. The staff is very friendly and they have the best roof top terrace. 2 to be exact. One over looking 5th Ave. and the other over looking the beach. Rooms were very quite and clean. Beds are great. You will feel safe here. The rooms are apartments with easy access. Also very close to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at this amazing place in the hearth of Playa del Carmen. The hotel has only few suites which is perfect to feel in an exclusive private place, no front desk to report every time you return, the suites are beautiful and well apointed, i stayed at the Diamond suite, amazing views, the rooftop a perfect place to see the night sky and enjoy cocktails. Huge rooms, kitchenet, fullsize refrigerator. Etc, etc, the beds are super confortable. Walking distance to everthing. Great service thank you RMD

We had a great time. My mom and I stayed in the Tanzanite room. It was very nice, we each had our own bathroom and bedroom and her room had a private balcony which unfortunately didn't offer an ocean view. The ocean view came from the balcony off of the kitchen which was very nice. The kitchen was nice and fully stocked, they kept bottled water in the fridge for us. There was a very nice living area outside our door that we had to ourselves. And there was a very nice view from the roof but we didn't take advantage of it because the view from our room was satisfactory. And there was a security guard in front of the entrance and the elevator didn't work without a room key so we felt very secure. Kinda felt bad for the security guard though, poor man deserves a chair. And Pablo, the manager was very nice and accommodating. The only cons I would give is that they didn't provide breakfast but that wasn't a big deal because we were seconds away from all kinds of food options. You couldn't see the name of the hotel on the street so we walked right past it. The sign was up on the second floor. We were around a lot of night life, so there was a bit of noise at night but I had no trouble sleeping.

Loved this hotel because it felt like staying in an apartment. It had a full kitchen and the decor was beautiful. Security was great and felt safe. The rooms were very clean. You can order breakfast every morning and it was very good. What I loved about this place is that it was right in the middle of the strip, surrounded by great restaurants, shopping, beaches and all the amenities that we needed. We plan on visiting Playa next yr. and staying at the Fifth Avenue .

Great hotel! Very safe with security standing outside entrance, very clean and quiet! You can't get any closer to all the great restaurants and bars. The beach is around corner only two blocks. They provide beach towels. The room is like a one bedroom apartment, very spacious and clean! Staff is very nice and are here to help.
