The location was perfect, our view was exceptional! Our room was clean, the lay out was beautiful. The staff was so helpful and kind! They made our stay better than what we expected! We plan on going back and will def make this a place our go to! The hotel is located right on the beach. We got a Partial ocean view room! They also have a restaurant that you can sit on the deck and enjoy the gorgeous view of the ocean.

This boutique hotel is right on the beach so you can see the sunrise at breakfast or sunset at dinner while eating in the lounges on the main floor or rooftop. The only warning that I would give is that I booked through Expedia and 3 days prior to check in I was sent an email stating that there was a mandatory resort fee of $19.99 USD per day. This does include the breakfast buffet but I am pretty sure when I initially booked there was always a breakfast included in my booking and no mention of the resort fee. I am sure this fee does not feel good and can add up on longer stays. Updating my review as I realized that the $100 USD they charged me for incidentals was never returned to my credit card in the 3 to 4 days they promised it would. I went back to the hotel reception 3 weeks later and they gave me this well rehearsed spiel that the hotel never keeps client visa information on file and they could only reimburse me once I requested it on the hotel WhatsApp and only to my bank or PayPal directly. Not to my Visa card. They have a Fiserv point of sale terminal but of course it does not seem to have any functionality. Their total disregard of client overcharging indicates they never planned to reimburse me and they over charge everyone so be advised.

The woman who came to fix our bathroom door was competent and a real professional. The woman at the front desk who was there 80% of our stay, on the other hand, evinced incompetence and had zero aptitude for customer service. Unfortunate, because the hotel was petty good.

Great place to stay en the center of the downtown area. Ruita was fantastic at the front desk and the entire staff was really accommodating and friendly. Definitely a party vibe being right on the beach, so be ready for it! I opened the deck doors every morning to a beautiful sunrise. You should too!

First and foremost, this is definitely the best service from a hotel that I’ve ever experience in all my travels. I’m going to start by acknowledging and thanking Yoscelin. By far, the most accommodating, respectful, kind, and understanding day shift front desk receptionist of this establishment. With her soft spoken clear voice and eloquence, her explanations of details are undoubtedly well received. She was also kind enough to understand that I felt sick and nauseas thereby, allowing me stay and take my time to pack on the day of my departure. She truly is an angel. Lupita, million thanks to you for arranging our taxi to the airport. Roberto is another employee that showed professionalism and respect. He was very patient to always open the door for me on the “wee” hours of the night. Thank you Roberto. Finally, Heriberto. Thank you for very much for being the best security guard, we felt safe under your supervision. I will be back to this hotel for sure. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Playa Del Carmen. Kudos to all of you!

Hopefully I am able to update this review as the week continues. I have not even arrived at the hotel for my reservation today but so far they do not answer emails and it seems their phone number is out of service as it goes straight to voicemail. One of the main reasons I picked this hotel was to use their airport shuttle but I ended up having to pay a taxi service because I could never get ahold of anyone at the hotel. I’m honestly very worried about what my week here will be like because so far it is a very bad experience.

We are currently here. I would recommend this hotel if you want to be by the action of 5th ave and on the beach. The rooftop pool is wonderful - excellent view! If you stay at this hotel need to be aware that it will be very loud. We did not have an issue with it on headphones at night but loud especially on weekends, also, please be aware that you will have to pay a $20 per person per night when you get there. Luckily I found out about this before we got here. . Rooms ar good size* beds are so comfortable and big . Breakfast is decent. Staff is very nice especially front desk.

We booked through Airbnb and there was a slight hiccup when we checked in but the amazing manager dealt with it. Everyone who works at the hotel is so nice and it’s in the perfect location. There’s a free breakfast included in the $20 a day resort fee which we didn’t try but im sure it would be incredible. :) the rooftop pool has a gorgeous view. The only issue is if you’re noise sensitive señor frogs is down the street but it didn’t bother my friend and I too much.

Incredibly friendly staff. Our room was clean and bright, and the hotel is in an excellent location — right on the beach. We came here in January and the weather was phenomenal, as well. Highly recommended!
