This hotel met our needs for 2 nights at a reasonable price. The rooms are adequate in size and clean, with comfortable beds. The courtyard and back yard are private and nicely landscaped. The breakfast wasn't elaborate but certainly adequate. The hotel is real close to 5th Avenue, the beach, and the Collectiveo pick-up.

Staff were really nice at the reception. However when I told them I had been bitten by insects in my room, showed them the pics and my leg! They said they couldn't do anything about it !!! They said the manager of the hotel was in Italy and they could not even give me my money back for the rest...

The good: Great location, clean hotel, comfortable beds, nice Mexican décor, good breakfast included. The bad: Increasing requirements from reception, larger security deposits - passport or $100 US. The reception desk that holds the passports is not always watched. The ugly: Extremely unfriendly staff at breakfast, to the point of being rude. The 'gentleman' simply growls "room number" at you...

This hotel was wonderful for its price. Being a solo traveler safety, and location are always a concern but the staff and owners made you feel safe and appreciated. They helped communicate with tour companies and arrange transportation. Beds were a little firm for my liking but AC worked well and rooms were clean. Went beyond my expectations!

We stayed for three nights just two blocks from Fifth Avenue. This smaller hotel had very clean rooms with good beds, excellent security and a satisfactory continental breakfast. We found our room to be quiet in the evenings and spacious. The staff were very accommodating and provided for all of our needs. I would definitely stay here again in the...

We stayed here for 3 nights.. the location and staff are excellent... the hotel is a cool little place right off the main strip-4 minute walk to the beach and ADO bus station and walk on ferry to Cozumel... there is nothing wrong with this hotel-it's just really old and leaves much to be desired in the comfort side of...

This hotel was clean and the hosts were really friendly! The rooms are small but comfortable. If you want to be close to downtown Playa this location can't be beat. That being said, it was a little noisy due to street noise and because their hotel diner was playing music too at all times. Is noise doesn't bother you though...

Booked this hotel last minute and I found it very good. The location is perfect and although it's down the road from the crazy Quinta Alegria it's very quiet and slept very well. I had room 21 on the first floor with 2 twin although I was traveling solo. The staff is very helpful. Breakfast is basic but I thought...

I booked this hotel for 7 nights. Unfortunately, in the first 24 hrs I got sick with Montazums revenge. Originally I planned to be out on tours, not staying in bed in a room with no TV. I decided I had to move hotels to one with a TV and a pool. The staff was nice but not helpful when...

We are sorry to hear of you disappointed, while we knew you wanted to move to another hotel and also about the unfortunate event you had breaking the glass. Most of clients read reviews prior to booking, and they will be able to compare your and other visitors thoughts. Barrio Latino is well located, well kept, with a lot of...

I had a great room, comfortable bed, plenty of light, immaculate, fridge, hot water, did I say immaculate? The front desk workers were all friendly and helpful.
