My best friend and I stayed at the Reef Coco for 5 nights. It was our first time to this resort. I have stayed at several resorts in the Riveria Maya/Tulum area and this by far is one of my favorites. We chose this resort...More
Just home from a wonderful week at this resort. It is a quiet resort, so if you are looking to party, this isn't the place for you. What a relaxing trip. We were treated with white gloves all week long. This is our 3rd, and...More
The Hotel is rather old and tired looking. For the price paid we were expecting something more. The Food Quality is below average. The meat was always tough, especially the Beef (either like a shoe sole or raw). Bland tasting without taste. It looks like...More

It would be about a 20 minute walk into the "safe" area to go eat in. The ferry would be near fifth Avenue. I would recommend a taxi to the ferry and then eating in places near there. We did take the shuttle to see the other Reef resort. A group of people were on it with us, but they were going to Walmart and the driver let them get off with no issue. Hope that helps.
