It would work fine for a baby in my opinion, just be sure to request a room away from the main street that isn't on the third floor and it is silent. However, I was there in December so it might be a little bit more noisy as I'm sure it is more busy this time of year.
They moved me from the third floor on the street side to way in the corner on the opposite side because of the noise from upstairs and I couldn't hear a thing from outside the room.
Policy wise though, I'm not sure how they are with kids for actual hotel guests, so you might want to check on that. I watched the front desk guy turn away a non hotel guest family because they had children with them (to go hang out at the rooftop pool) - however it was at night so I'm not sure if it was because of the time or policy.
That said, I didn't see any children at all during my stay.
