Wonderful time! We were very pleased with this resort, this was our first time and would definitely be back. My family (2 adults+ 2 kids) have stayed in Paradisus Playa Del Carmen on January 15-23, 2021. Great food and great service in all Restaurants. Everyone was so kind and helpful! The service here can't be beat. The “Fuego”, “Vento” and “Bana” restaurant were great. Great selection of food and drinks. Book restaurants through App Melia.  Due to Covid-19, the restaurants have seating limits and strict reservations. Be prepared to wear masks when moving about and have temperature checks at breakfast. The beach and the pool were amazing. Beaches were very clean and wide open. My kids enjoyed the Splash Water Park. I had amazing time. The pool bar was so fun and had an amazing DJ. The Lobby bar as well. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. Our hotel room and view was stunning. The pool area had exercise, games and activity staff. I also was able to get a massage on the beach. Great night Show, especially “Water circus”. I loved the attention to health & safety the resort and staff took. There are sanitizing stations all over. After my relaxing stay, I have no doubt of plans to return and enjoy all Paradisus has to offer! Thank you all for a great vacation! I would recommend it.

Hotel's Favorite
We decided last minute to change our trip to Paradisus because the hotel we were supposed to stay at had so many bad reviews we got worried . So happy we made the change !!! We travel to Mexico few times a year and this resort was one of my favorite . We were a group of 17 and making reservations at restaurants was a task on its own but with the help of wonderful concierge : Flor and Rocio we were able to manage it all ..the concierges there go above and beyond with all our requests . It was very easy to communicate with them and they will do anything to make you happy . We had some hiccups but it didn’t ruined our vacay because of the wonderful people that work there .The resort is pretty big which usually I don’t care for but it was so kids friendly that we didn’t want to leave . We ended up staying longer (10 days ) just came back tonight and we miss it already . Some of the waiters were amazing as well like Miguel at the buffet , Miguel and angel at sunrise pool , Alexis at the beach , Elena at the gym and let’s not forget Lina and yessina who were loving on all our kids ! Even during covid , with few things closed and more measures to follow this trip was one to remember and mostly because of the service ! The beach is gorgeous and food is pretty good for an all inclusive ! Fuego and bana were the highlights ! I couldn’t mention all the staff that made our stay a wonderful one ! Thank you paradisus until next time 😀

The reserve adult only pool and bar at the Paradisus play del carmen (it's at the south most part of the property) had excellent service! The team at the bar (Adan) and pool side (Innocence, Miguel and Daniel) was supberp! They were so friendly, accommodating and willing to make experimental fruity drinks for us! The best was a qiwi drink that was so refreshing! Be sure to ask Adan for the kiwi drink. 🥝😊 At the Gabi bar look for Miguel. He'll make you a mean expresso martini and this other coffee drink called Shaqerato only Miguel knows how to make. The Shaqerato is so good and great after dinner... Or before during after dinner lunch bfast.. 😂 The resort has covid tests onsite with results available within hours. Convenient especially after Jan 26th 2021 US mandate to have covid test within 3 days of landing in US. If he has time, which he had plenty of during covid times, he'll give you a class on how to make classic or Mayan mojotos!

We just got back from a one week trip to the Paradisus. This was our second time here and it was just as amazing! Overall, it was much more quiet and everyone gave each other space. Staff was great at being clean, hygenic, and providing services within Covid guidelines! I loved how safe we felt. Do the free photo session! You can just buy the digital images of the pictures you want. They do a great job! We traveled with our 2 young kids, and they loved the water park and the beach. The beach was free of seaweed, which was great for swimming and playing on the beach. One recommendation for the water park- the toddler area needs some kind of barrier around the bar of the slide, possibly like a foam roller. So many kids hit their heads on it. MOMS- please be respectful and put swim diapers on your babies! They had to shut down the pool twice while we were there for careless moms not doing this. Overall, the food was amazing, as always. The only negative was that the buffet was closed the entire time. The buffets are so much easier for feeding young kids. Vento and Mole are the best! Also, the lunch restaurant didn't open until 1, so it was a bit of a gap between breakfast and lunch for my kids. Getting food at the beach and pool took sooooo long. Shout out to ELVIS, MIGUEL, and GIRBAN (spelling) for paying special attention to everyone's needs at the pool and beach. JAQUELINE at the restaurants was amazing as well. Kids club was great for my 5 year old! He loved all the activities!

First and foremost understand covid is very much a part of traveling. So yes you must mask up. It does suck. With that being said the resort did the best it could during these times. A huge shout out to Guadalupe she made all the reservations and was available even on her days off. Always felt taken care of. Special shout-out to bartender Abdel at the sunrise pool very attentive drinks were always in hand. But a special shout-out to my friend Enrique he went the extra mile for food poolside and made sure are glasses were always full. Another place I would definitely come back to once covid is gone. Hotel was a about 30 percent capacity and there was more then enough staff working for a capacity to be at 100 percent. Did the timeshare talk with a lovely lady named Alexa she did a fantastic job in explaining what the paradisus program is about. And didn't waist time or feel high pressured at anytime. The only down side was the evening entertainment which I have travel to numerous places during the covid and its the same in aruba as it was in Mexico. As for the food it was good plenty if choices every night. The best part of starting the day with breakfast at room service was fantastic. The beach is beautiful and plenty of chairs if thats your vibe. We stayed by the pool bar with my new family Abdel and Enrique most of the time.
