Ernesto Ibarra is very attentive to detail and very helpful. He made our experience 100 times better despite the negative experience we had with the front desk staff. Overall, the resort needs to train their staff to have better customer service.

Hotel's Favorite
We just returned from a 5 day stay with our family (6 adults, 6 kids ages 4 to 13), in 3 rooms. Every member of our group enjoyed our stay immensely. COVID-19 precautions are taken seriously to keep you safe but don't detract from the visit at all. There were minor quirks we noticed since our large group had multiple rooms (2 master suites and 1 standard), 2/3 rooms had a bottle opener for the bottles of water, 1 room had robes, 1 room wasn't restocked as well as the other 2. In room coffee would have been appreciated since it's hard to schedule room service when you don't want to set an alarm, but I doubt it would have been any where near as delicious as the coffee at The Market restaurant. Dinner reservations were almost impossible to get for the restaurants that required them, but El Fuego was a real winner. The regular buffet did not disappoint at all though. There were staples that they had every day, but the rest of the menu was different. Overall a wonderful all inclusive trip, none of us were ready to leave.

Great, clean hotel with friendly staff. All COVID measures are being followed and we felt very safe. We stayed in the reserve section with a swim out room. I have to say this made our experience. They did originally put us in the adults only, non reserve section which was not what we booked. Be aware of what you have paid for and question it if you are not sure. I cannot complain about how the staff handled this, it was quickly resolved and we were moved to the room we had paid for but it’s worth being aware of. Our concierge Hugo was brilliant and checked in a couple of times a day to make sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Service by the pool was incredible. As soon as your drink was empty the server (sorry I forgot his name) was on his way over with another. We were lucky with restaurant reservations as Hugo already sorted them for us before our arrival. This did mean you couldn’t really choose where you wanted to eat or at what time (although Hugo did manage to change one of our reservations for us). We were there for 6 nights so we didn’t mind as he booked a different one each night for us. I would recommend contacting ahead of your stay if there is a particular restaurant you would like. We enjoyed cocktails in the M Bar. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and skilled in making the drinks. The Espresso Martinis and the Mango Martinis were our personal favourites. Everything did close very early though (11pm for all but one bar which closed at 12am) which I am assuming is because of the lower occupancy which is understandable but this did mean there was a lack of nightlife. I really do want to warn you, if you stay here especially with a swim out suite… THE FLOORS ARE SLIPPERY! Put towels down. I slipped the first day there and consequently have had surgery to mend my broken elbow. I do want to stress, I don’t blame the hotel for this. I’m extremely accident prone lol (I didn’t even make them aware of my injury) but I just hope by mentioning this it will make people aware to put towels down on the doorway area. Maybe it would be a nice addition for the hotel to put some sort of door mat there. The floors don’t seem to be designed well with water from the pool in mind. The resort itself is huge and very well laid out. If you are in the adults only side you are completely unaware of the other half of the hotel unless you walk over there. The majority of the restaurants are in the same area too which made everything very easy.

Now THIS property was extremely nice, clean, convenient and the decor is very modern, chic and pristine. We were greeted with a warm “hola” & cold, sanitized towels after having our temperature checked. Upon check-in, we received refreshing green juice and although only one person checking us in that morning, it was still seamless and thorough. From Tuesday-Saturday we had the BEST time with good food, drinks and day/nightly entertainment. DORA & ANGELO were beyond amazing, professional, friendly, comical, energetic and pure fun. Dora, our muy calinete chica or “Dora the Explorer” consistently gave everyone high, incomparable energy, beautiful smiles and tons of laughs. Angelo, the handsome fitness guru was always hilarious, very calm and made us feel comfortable and at home. These two were my absolute favorite! New friends forever ;-)! And then there was our towel expert, Miguel, who was the first to greet us at the pool as we secured our spot for the day and he consistently checked on us throughout the day and even shared with us a secret about the pool huts/cabanas…shhh, you’ll have to find and ask him lol. Lastly, Reina, was THEE best pool server we could ask for. She kept us feeling nice and full with cocktails, other drinks and of course food! This was a REALLY sweet vacation after not traveling for over a year due to the pandemic. Oh yea, antigen tests are given the day before departure and I always felt safe and clean! We shall return someday soon. Hope this has all been helpful! Happy traveling. Keep living your best life.
