Hidden gem near Playa Del Carmen that sits right on the Paamul beach. This is like a boutique hotel with jaw dropping views of the Carribbean waters from every room! The room is quite big and clean with comfortable bed and everything felt crisp, fresh and clean. Amenities include microwave, a small refrigerator and air conditioner. There is hot water in the bathroom and the water pressure is good. There is complimentary breakfast which is provided in the nearby Restauarante Paamul. WiFi worked great. We stayed here during covid times and felt comfortable and safe with their sanitation practices. Andrea is friendly and always available to answer any questions. We stayed here the last week of our 3 month stay in PDC and I can say that this was a grand finale to our trip. I would absolutely go back there again and stay longer. If waking up to dramatic ocean views, snorkeling/swimming/kayaking multiple times in waters that are calm like a giant swimming pool is your thing, you would fall in love with Paamul. Tips - Restaurante Paamul that is next door serves lunch and dinner as well and their fish and shrimp are excellent. Be sure to check hours for dinner because they can close early by 8:00 PM. - The Paamul beach itself is quite small, but it is one of the few places on Riviera Maya where you can directly swim to the coral gardens and the reef. One of the best places I've been for snorkeling and paddle boarding. - It's easy to get to via 307 - about 20 minutes from Playa. There's free parking.

We are headed back to Paamul Hotel in a few weeks and cannot wait! The hotel is always clean and comfortable and the view from your room is breathtaking! Every room is ocean front and you literally have your toes in the sand within steps. The restaurant in Paamul is always wonderful. The wait staff (like Martin, Enrique, Pablo really all of the guys) always greet us with a smile and take such good care of us. And the food...we dream about the food all year long and cannot wait to have the fresh seafood like the ceviche, the Cowboy Steak and Caribbean Eggs for breakfast (just to name a few). See you soon Paamul!

I love Paamul and can’t wait to get back to the hotel and the restaurant has excellent food. The cleaning and other staff are super friendly too. It’s close to the trailer park portion of the property so if you have friends there, it’s close for visiting. Beautiful beach and the water is clear. Go!

Our family of four LOVED the Paamul Hotel. This was our first stop on our Yucatan vacation, and we loved our elegant seaside room, with the lovely porch overlooking the beach. We spent all day at the beach, ordering drinks and food to our shady chairs and playing in the pool and the ocean. Snorkeling equipment was available but there wasn't much visibility when we were there; we could have gone kayaking or paddle boarding instead (offered by hotel) but we just ate fresh coconuts, etc. The second day we went to the awesome adventure park, Xplor, which was right down the road (around ten minute drive). That was also a complete blast. After our week of fun at three different hotels, both kids said this one was their very favorite due to the awesome people who worked there and the incredible location. Thank you so much, Paamul Hotel staff for going above and beyond to give us a great stay!
