We stayed there with 2 children amd nearby discos were so loud it was not possible to sleep until 2 am. Hotel staff was kind and helpful and we liked the layout of the hotel, just like Mexican movies. Breakfast was ok and of good choice. Good for people who like night life, but definitely not for families with kids.

When we arrived, we thought this looks good. Sadly this feeling ended when I showered and returned to the bedroom to find a leak coming from above the air con. It gradually got better until the people in the room next door showered and the puddle got bigger. Reception assured me twice that some one would come and look at it but what they actually meant was, we'll wait until people stop showering and pretend there's nothing wrong... they give me a 10% off voucher for a local restaurant, but I'd rather have a room that doesn't have an electrical hazard. Thank god its just one night! Avoid room 302.

My family and I are foodies and love to eat, drink, and learn about a culture Bartender Felipe was extremely friemdly and was great with drinks and conversation in espanol he went above and beyond to ensure our drinks was made to perfection and even memorized what we liked so that every time we came in we didnt have yo ask he immediately made our daquiries and mojitos just the waybwe liked astrid and mario made our time spent im the japanese restaurant superb astrid was very flexible in scheduling and made the wait for a table more tolerable with good conversation. very good woman. very friendly. Mario was an amazing waiter. fast. accurate. couldnt have expected more. Was a very good waiter. Same with Neftali. He was on point man. he was by far The fastest waiter in the italian restaurant it seemed. Neftali was so fast with everything was almost as if he never took a break. He was definetly rekemberable in the italian restaurant. And I cant forget my good amigonBenito. He went out of his way to let me use his phone to see the digital menu at the hacienda grill when I left mine in my room. Have just had the best 7 days at this hotel,the staff were all helpful and very friendly, I have to mention Oscar and Alfredo the barmen working at the pool bar, they were just the best, nothing was too much trouble

This hotel is at the great location, the first parallel street next to main pedestrian area. So, it is in the center, but without much noise (except if your room is at the south side, than you will hear music from the bar). Rooms are very nice, maybe a little bit less than it should be for this category of a hotel, but the general impression is positive. Hotel has a small swimming pool for chilling, and also rooftop can be used. Staff is very pleasant and helpful.

July 15th was my second stay at Hacienda Real...the first one being in 2019. The hotel reopened in mid June and they are taking all the precautions necessary to prevent and protect against Covid-19. Before entering, you wipe your feet on a wet and then dry mat, they take your temperature and you are given hand sanitizers. Sanitizers are placed in many places within the hotel and toothpicks are posted for use on the elevator buttons. Mask are worn by all staff at ALL times and they are constantly cleaning. I love this hotel for their quaintness, the hospitality, the manager, Paulina's, attention to detail and her hospitality to her guests. They have a wonderful pool in the middle of the property, which was great, as during our trip, the public beaches were still closed. The restaurant, Magnolia's, is a favorite, and they also offer full room service that was prompt in response and preparation. Most restaurants, shops, and even the mall was open ...but all businesses were very attentive to temperature checks and hand sanitation. It was widely noticed that Mexico was continuously taking precautions of all kinds, even in the streets and airport, and residents and visitors constantly wore mask. I felt extremely safe...even safer than the US, as they seemed to be taking better precautions than the US currently. If you haven't stayed at Hacienda Real, check it out! You will love the hotel, the staff, and it's great location right in the active heart of Playa. Our balcony room was a hit for our evenings, enjoying the weather and the street activity..since the bars and nightclubs had not reopened.…

Cons: super soft weird bed, thick and tough pillow and there is a night club behind the hotel and the music is so so loud. Not really a place to sleep at all. Another con is that breakfast is included but you probably won't have it since it starts at 8am. When you go to any tour they start around 6:30-7:00. And they don't give you a breakfast to take as most of the hotels do. Pros: location is amazing, nice pool, clean bed and huge bathroom.

Jose at concierge was amazing. He was so polite and helpful.He suggested a beach club and was willing to do anything to make our stay better at the Hotel Hacienda Real Del Caribe. We would come back because he works there. He made our stay at the lovely mexican style hotel memorable.

We arrived and added 2 more days by telephone. 5 night stay total. Very wonderful location if you like to be in the center of town. Pool area very relaxing and tranquil. Size of hotel was perfect for us. Price good. Breakfast next door was fabulous. Cheap and easy for us. Staff was very helpful on tours and ferry to Cozumel.The bracelets for Martyna beach club was just what the doctor ordered. BEAUTIFUL !! There were 4 problems that should be addressed. NEW LOUNGE CUSHIONS AT POOL. NEW MATTRESSES IN ROOMS.bed killed my back. I have back problems. Sleep is important. Please fix windows as they don't close properly can be pushed open. So I tied a string around the window shutter locks. Dangerous. Bathroom window I used a hanger to shut and lock. I know the tropics are hard on fixtures so just beware people were complaining about it and where fixing it themselves.Otherwise a fabulous time was had by all. Think you should give property little TLC and it would be PERFECTION !!!…
