We spend 4 nights at this lovely Hacienda at the entrance of Merida. (When you drive from Cancun). It is a 50 hotel rooms. We had a very welcome diner with the service of Luis and Rafael at their evening restaurant, very friendly and professional
What to say about this hotel- we had a fantastic stay. It is a beautiful hacienda with 2 lovely pools and a small gym. The grounds are stunning and so peaceful and well maintained. It is slightly outside Mérida but easy to get in by taxi which the hotel can arrange. The rooms and bathrooms were large- I loved the hammock in my room. The room I was in didn’t have an outside area but it really didn’t matter as the grounds were so lovely and quiet. Breakfast was good. You had fruit to start and then a choice of option after. Being coeliac they had plenty of gluten free options. We stayed up late drinking by the pool and the staff were so accommodating it made one of the best nights of our trip. A beautiful hotel that I hope to go back to.
Very mixed feelings about this hotel- staff were very nice but the place is crying out for some money to be spent on maintenance. Also, while we understood the hotel was outside the central area we assumed there would become some local amenities and activities within the vicinity however there is virtually nothing around. This place has once been very impressive. It’s location means that it is delightfully peaceful. The large walled garden is lush and contains many lovely mature trees. Unfortunately we were advised that it was tree roots which prevented our shower tray from draining. Apart from the drainage problem we had an ongoing problem with an electric socket outlet which was detached from the wall and left hanging by the cable. This is absolutely unsafe but was not repaired despite us reporting it several times. The room itself was large, comfortably furnished, but rather dark. There were insufficient power outlets in convenient locations. Wifi was good. The room did have a safe but not large enough to take a laptop. There was no fridge in the room but one was rapidly provided on request. We ate at the hotel restaurant on several occasions - the service, food and prices were all very good.…
What a wonderful place! Beautiful location, full of history, warm service and incredible memories. The rooms are great and allow you to enjoy nature and relaxation. The hotel has large beautifully kept gardens and incredible accommodations. The personnel is friendly and full of positive ideas, thanks Misne team, we had a wonderful time.
Hacienda Misne is wonderful - we had 6 days here and wish we had time for more! We arrived after a long journey in the heat and were greeted with iced tea and were welcomed very warmly by the team - this is a stand-out feature of Hacienda Misne - the people are absolutely lovely and do everything they can to make your stay the best. The hacienda is gorgeous green and lush with beautiful huge rooms. It’s incredibly clean too with few insects somehow. Breakfast was delicious and healthy, eggs, fruit, juices, pancakes....dinner was absolutely delicious to the point where we actually stayed in most nights as we wanted to try the whole menu after the first night as it was so good! Traditional Mexican dishes. There is also an outdoor pool and a bonus was the indoor glass air-conditioned gym. We brought our teenage children here and they loved it but we think it would be a treat for couples or adult groups too as it was so peaceful. It would also be fun for younger kids to explore. We miss this place already and can not wait to be back!…
We stayed 2 nights here. This hotel is on the outskirts of Merida and is an old hacienda with the bedrooms in the spacious gardens. The service from all staff (reception, housekeeping, restaurant and bar) was very friendly and attentive. The bedroom was spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower. The WiFi and air conditioning worked well. There are pools and a spa and gymnasium. There is a menu of spa treatments and I had an excellent 60 minutes massage for 1,000 pesos (around US$50). The breakfast was good with eggs cooked to order. The bar was well stocked and reasonably priced.
Hacienda Misne is a paradise, nature everywhere, from beautiful garden to unique and magnificent trees! Is like being in a secret paradise! The rooms are gorgeous!, from the ceiling to the floor! Even had an hamaca, on it. The whole Hacienda is gorgeous, all personal is wonderful, since the gardener to the chef. There is a lot of history and tradition food is also as great as the whole place. SPA, Gym , Bar, Seimming pool. All services are great. So much to do and so much to explore. Close distance to incredible places like beach, cenotes, downtown Merida !!! From airport to Hacienda Misne traveling time is less than 20 minutes. I recommended to use Uber service . You will have an incredible visit!!!
The Hacienda is extremely beautiful, the gardens are huge and impressive. The rooms are very nicely furnished and the food for dinner is excellent. I would not recommend breakfast, the food in the morning is nothing special. The beds are not excellent, they need to get new ones. In general it was a new experience to stay at the Hacienda. It is far from downtown so you need a car to stay here or be aware that you need to move in taxi all the time. There is nothing at a walking distance.
This is a beautiful hotel-hacienda, very well maintained The rooms are spacious and modern with a Mexican touch. The staff are very helpful all the time and the food is nice Very convenient if you would like to stay away from all the noise from Merida downtown I originally book the hotel for 1 night, but we liked it that much that we ended book extra 2 nights, we loved it!!
- Car is being parked, bags taken to the room. - The rooms are, modern, spacious & clean. - The staff is very friendly, polite, thoughtful. - Garden is beautiful and well maintained. - Food is delicious and service is very good. - Clean, stylish pool with enough towels. One point: the car was parked under a tree, the birds loved it, but we got is back dirty.
