You would never know from the outside what it id like when you enter hotel hacienda Merida. Beautiful entryway with a long hallway with billowing curtains leading to s beautiful pool. After a long hot day visiting the ruins it I'd do nice to come and relax at this hotel. The front desk is at your beck and call for...

We stayed here for 2 nights in February in a ground floor room overlooking the pool. Despite the road outside, the hotel is an oasis of calm and quiet. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, especially Albert, and able to offer plenty of tips and advice when asked. The room was a good size as was the well-appointed...

We think that previous reviews under rated this accommodation. A peaceful , tranquil location , near to he city centre and a host of excellent eating establishments. Although in city centre still ideally suited for day trips out of town , or if you wish to do nothing the swimming pool for a day is ideal.

We spent 2nights here just before Xmas 2016. This is a boutique hotel, located within easy walking distance of the main square and many shops and good restaurants. The view of this place from the street belies the charming setting in which this hotel is located. Behind those doors is a tranquil haven. The setting at night demands photos be...

This was a last minute booking for one night. When we arrived the next day we were upgraded to the VIP section which was very nice. The VIP area had a separate entrance than the main hotel. The reception area was spacious with views thru the arches to the courtyard and pool. Our room had high ceilings and all the...

We had booked one night via booking.com in early January and were treated very friendly. Our spacious room with 2 four-poster beds was even ready before usual check-in times. The location is great and there is a guarded private parking nearby the hotel which is free of charge. The pool and the garden area are almost like in a Marrakesh...

This hotel will have you planning your next trip back before your head hits the pillow! Don't be fooled by the austere facade as it is truly beautiful once you step inside The high ceilings, dazzling monastic archways, polished concrete floors and cool breezes will have you lingering over breakfast (which is wonderful!). Our large and perfectly decorated room was...

Location is excellent - out of yhe quite busy centre but within easy walking distance of the centre. Next door or a short walk is an excellent local restaurant CHAYA MAYA which is not to be missed. The hotel upgraded us to...

Location, location, location of this boutique hotel is the best if you want to be near center of town. Very short walk to great restaurants and just a few more blocks to the central area. Our first day started on a Sunday so we explored the market at Plaza Grande, the main plaza. Later there was free and superb entertainment....

We stayed in this hotel about five years ago and then over New Year 2017. Our first stay was so good we were very happy to come back again. The people who work in the hotel are very friendly and always looking to help. They all did a good job, but let me single out Alberto and Carlos. We stayed...
