Frank and Sergio could not have been more kind and accommodating after my travel partner was unable to join me. I had a MERIDA experience unlike any other! Be sure to visit the Mayan history museum. Thank you again for the fine hospitality.

Frank, Sergio, and Esopo provide the premium accommodation and hospitality in Merida. Yes, maybe the price is premium as well, yet I say worthwhile during our cross country adventures. Our stay was all too brief yet we were treated like family with kindness and grace. Not only was the room top notch but Frank's conversation was alone a reason to... More

Frank's place is the best! We visited in Jan and felt right at home immediately. We stayed in the beautiful Buddah room which is large and luxurious. There was a kitchen just down the hall so we could have get coffee and come back to our room to slowly wake up. There was also a lovely table and patio to... More

Casa Santiago is a delightful oasis in Merida. Frank is a brilliant owner host extraordinaire, Sergio is his equally wonderful manager. Both have very interesting life stories and will take the time to tell you if you sit still with them. Breakfast is great, fresh and plentiful. Rooms are lovely, with very comfy beds. We (two couples) loved our stay in Casa Santiago! Frank, Sergio, and the staff treat their guests extremely well, and they provided us with great recommendations in Merida and beyond! The building/rooms are very nice and include all the amenities you might want. However, the quality of other guests and our hosts were top-notch which made staying here all the... More

It is located in the heart of Merida, which we found to be a very safe, walkable and friendly city. The day trips were very well organized, and extremely interesting and fun! Our visit to Uxmal and the... More
