I've stayed here maybe six times over 15 years, and remember when Casa Lucia was very elegant, run by very classy proprietors, and not that expensive. It has changed hands (perhaps twice) since those glory days. Much still remains, in particular, the tasteful and expensive room furnishings, some of the artwork, elegant bathrooms, and a nice pool and poolside area....

I couldn't have been more pleased with my one night stay at Casa Lucia. The staff was so helpful. The room is very large, and well appointed. The entire decor is welcoming, and comfortable. I left before breakfast was served, but the hotel was kind enough to provide me with a meal to take with me in my car. The...

Absolutely gorgeous classic hotel. Everyone was amazing with our two large dogs. Room was seriously luxurious and breakfast was wonderfull. Location was walking distance to all Historic Area. We loved this boutique hotel. Great value for the money.

This hotel is located directly across the street from a pretty plaza and next door to a large church. There are many restaurants within short walking distance. We took a day trip to Celestun on the coast to visit the bird sanctuary. Among many other birds that migrate there, there are thousands of Pink Flamingos. Quite a sight! We also...

Lovely hotel in downtown Merida. Excellent location. Beautiful layout. Nice inner court. Friendly staff. A bit pricey, but worth it. The only complaint was skimply breakfast - free breakfast includes a toast with jam and a coffee.

I booked this by the photos, but was a wee bit hesitant about the reviews but thought, well just go with the good ones. I arrived in the dark at night and could really not see anything outside. The room was very big, and the old furniture was very dated and a lot of stains on them, had they varnished...

I stayed here during a conference in Merida and enjoyed the quiet garden and central location. The breakfasts are delicious and there is a very good Italian restaurant right across the street. It is nearby to good shopping as well. The plumbing was a little finicky (sink faucet leaked and toilet slow to flush) but it was manageable.

We actually were in a hotel nearby and moved here as there was a good price on Booking.com and it looked nice. The location is superb on the Plaza Santa Lucia (music, nice restaurants, chocolate shop). We were put in a room in the old building above the reception. The room was dark, shabby and worst of all there was...

Our experience was wonderful at Hotel Casa Lucia, we arrived late and Grisella was at the front desk and helped us get our numerous bags to our room. We were in the Santa Ana room right on the beautiful courtyard with a pool as blue as it could be. The room was huge, clean and beautiful, the A/C worked great....

Nice Property... but something smelled Musty when we go our room. We changed and left the A/C on to clear it up.... well, there must have been Black Mold in the AC Filter or something. When we return to shower for dinner, I noticed Black Mold in the Shower... then my wife started Coughing and had an allergic reaction to...
