We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Lucía Boutique Hotel. It's centrally located in the old section of Merida (near restaurants, shops, sights), has parking for 7 cars and if not available, there is a parking garage across the street. The rooms were ample and very comfortable with good linens and firm beds. The pillows were perhaps a tad too firm for my taste, but the hotel breakfast was abundant and varied, and there is great pool for those wishing to cool off. I would gladly go back to this hotel.
Well located comfortable place to call home. Rooms large and spacious, staff super friendly, awesome free breakfast including freshly cooked eggs, pancakes, ham/cheese quesadillas, coffee, juice, and fruit plate. Pool area nice and comfortable. Plenty of health/safety protocols. Nice place!
Great location, nice pool with hammocks, big rooms with a nice bathroom. Decent breakfast included in the price. Perfect location just across the street from Plaza Lucia with many bars and restaurants. Very quiet.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff! Nice and relaxing pool area. A lovely, quiet place. And great food literally just outside the front door! Charming rooms, well kept up and enjoyable architecture. Also helped with the required COVID test (ask for the cheaper! one though) to return to the US as well as tours etc...
From the moment we walked through the door on arrival until our departure, we received excellent service from the wonderful staff at Hotel Casa Lucia. The Sales Manager, Jeanette, was quick to respond and answer all of our questions. She set the bar for the excellent service and care we would receive during our stay. Marta, the General Manager, greeted us at the reception desk which kept the look and feel of a quaint boutique hotel. With wooden slots behind the desk holding a variety of things from keys to notes, it felt unique and homey. Juanito, the bellman, quickly appeared and was efficient and friendly. He took the key from Marta and led us to our room. The best part of our arrival is that time had been taken to turn on the A/C in the room. When we entered it was cool and refreshing. Spacious, clean, and overlooking the pool, we felt comfy and cared for. No doubt, it is one of the cleanest hotels we have experienced in Merida. We loved the sizes of the room and bathroom - large, clean and wonderful. The amenities (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.) brand smelled great with a generous size. We enjoyed the pool the next morning before having breakfast at Soberana which was included in our room rate. The breakfast at Soberana was excellent - coffee was the best I've ever had. Wonderful service, great atmosphere and cozy. The entire experience left us feeling pampered and rested. Quiet, charming and a respite from the sounds of the city, we felt sheltered and safe. Being able to see the top of the Santa Lucia church and the location across from Santa Lucia Park were just the icing on the cake. The purpose of this trip was to vet the hotel as a THE hotel of choice for Merida Mexico Tours. The met and exceeded every single quality we wanted. Extending the same quality, service and expectations to our clientele is important. We are confident that Hotel Casa Lucia will provide the same level of service and quality. This hotel in Centro has done an outstanding job of creating consistency in the look, feel, and service of a true boutique hotel. We highly recommend Hotel Casa Lucia!…
Cute little boutique hotel located in the center of Merida. This hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the loculation was perfect. ! We enjoyed the pool and longing in the hammocks and the breakfast was delicious!
A group of us stayed here and found the location to be perfect. The pool was cool and refreshing, but in need of some cleaning. The rooms come in different sizes and one in our group stayed in the standard #3 room, not recommended. The deluxe rooms were more spacious and located out side the lobby and had much better plumbing. Best of all this locations breakfast was the best of the vacation.
I was very dissatisfied with my hotel room. It was moldy above the shower, had dirty stains on the wall, and loose tiles on the floor. Perhaps it just happened to be that specific room but I had seen enough. I assumed I couldn’t get refunded for the first day, (I only spent 15 minutes in the room) but they refused a refund even on even my second night of my stay and only offered a change of room which I declined. I would only recommend if your standards are relatively low.
We liked the hotel very much. Nice pool with hammocks and pool chairs. We stayed in the top floor, the luxury rooms. They probably need a little touch up but for the location and all it was a good price and good place. Decent breakfast was included.
Iis clean and calm. And good because of the location, where is exactly at the center of the downtown. One bad thing is Wifi, was terrible at my room. Instead, Wifi is good at the swimming pool area. Morning meal is good.
