This was the first time my husband and I have ever stayed at a bed & breakfast. I was hesitant at first, but friends we were meeting up with wanted to stay at Los Arcos based upon the great reviews. WOW! AMAZING! So glad we did! David, the owner, made our first trip to Mexico an absolutely fabulous one. His... More

You simply have to stay here. David is the very definition of the host with the most. So generous, warm and helpful, with the BEST recommendations on what to do/what to see/where to eat in Merida and the surrounds. That's before you take in his absolutely exquisite home that he's extended and decorated himself... With his own art I believe!... More

We stayed with David for two nights as we traveled round the Yucatan peninsula and, frankly, would've stayed forever if we could have. Los Arcos itself is incredible, the rooms are beautifully put together, and the pool is a little oasis. David is a wonderful host, full of information and recommendations about Merida and the region. And, like everyone else... More

This is an experience to cherish from the minute you step inside from the street. The walls hold many treasures collected from far and wide including portraits painted by David that look kindly at you! The pool, surrounded by the beautiful tranquil garden is a great place to unwind after a big day of exploring the town and our room... More

The house is incredible, you'll have to see it to believe it! We enjoyed David, a most accommodating host, who went out of his way to make our stay at Los Arcos perfect. And, his personal artwork, WOW, WOW, WOW! The location of the B & B was wonderfully convenient to many good restaurants, markets, etc. We enjoyed big breakfasts... More

My husband and I just spent four nights at Los Arcos and loved every minute of our time there. The B&B is filled with interesting art and the patio is filled with a variety of beautiful plants. Our garden room was comfortable, only steps away from the pool. Los Arcos is close to many good restaurants and Merida sights. Our... More

I cannot rave enough about how wonderful our stay at Los Arcos was. The property is on a quiet street, a very short walk to the center of historic Merida. When we arrived, David recommended a nearby bar for happy hour, which was our first stop and one of the best experiences we had in Mexico socializing with locals. We... More

If you have read previous Reviews of David's "Los Arcos" there is little more that can be added relative to the 'Physical Plant' of this Fantastic "Oasis" in Merida. We stayed there for 5 nights,  Feb/2016.  The real Key to this place is David, the Owner and on-site 'Fount' of information for Merida.   We have been travelling in both... More

My soulmate and I stayed for 8 nights at Los Arcos in February 2016 and loved it. It's an unusual B & B, but right to our taste. David, the owner and a consummate host, was always kind, gentle and anticipated our needs. The home itself is more of a museum with antiquities and art from around the world. There... More

After staying at B&B's around the world, we rate Los Arcos and David Reed as the best. Our room with two queen beds was larger than most, with very high ceilings that gave a sense of space and comfort. Walk into a gorgeous courtyard with pool and pretty plants. It is a wonderful place to just sit and talk or... More
