I have just returned from a month and a half stay at this historic home turned into a B&B. Having travelled extensively throughout Mexico over the past 20 years, I can say that this accommodation was superlative. It has all the comforts one could ask for in a very traditional Mexican decorated ambience....a beautiful setting in a tropical garden, clean... More

Beautiful, interesting, relaxing and delicious. I had a good feeling when I decided to book this historical bed and breakfast in the City of Merida for my first time stay in Mexico. When I got there I found it to be even better than I had anticipated. Anna and Mariana have a beautifully appointed home with beautiful art work and... More

That is what I wrote Feb 13, 2014, and I did return to Mérida, and we stayed at Casa Ana. It was like returning home. Ana and Mariana are so welcoming and hospitable, it is a wonderful place to stay. I don't know why Mérida is not on everyone's must-visit list, but if is on yours, this is definitely the... More

Owned by a lovely cuban couple, this bed and breakfast is located about 15 minutes from the old city center and about 10 minutes from the more modern pasejo de montejo. Unlike how some other B&B's feel like hotels, Casa Ana does a great job of maintaining the homey vibe, without implicitely inviting you into the living room or kitchen.... More

Casa ana is located in a quiet street 10 minutes walking to the center's attractions and restaurants. We walked around at night and it felt perfectly safe. We felt home at this place and particularly appreciated the little touches as honey shampoo at the name of the place, mugs at the name of the place, good breakie different every morning,... More

As soon as Ana opened the door and helped me in w/ my luggage, I felt welcomed and relaxed. This B&B is so much an oasis from the bustling city, right down to the garden with secluded seating areas, flowers & plants everywhere, and the wonderful pool, large enough for a cool dip after a busy day. The guestrooms are... More

What a great hideaway in Merida. Ana really makes your visit perfect. The garden oasis is lovely and the breakfasts are light but refreshing. It is a great deal. Ana has great suggestions on tours and restaurants and will set up massages or a cook dinner at the house if desired. I stayed over Christmas and she even had a... More

Hosts are great, the rooms are great, the other guests are great, and the breakfasts are interesting and healthy. There's a small pool to cool off in, hammocks to snooze in, shelves of books to read, and places to hang out that are quiet. Bathroom is clean and works! and it's a 5 minute walk to el centro and a... More

I would highly recommend Casa Ana. We stayed for 5 nights to explore Merida and the surrounding area and it was always lovely to return to this quiet, peaceful oasis. There is a lush garden, a number of different areas to sit out as well as a small pool for that refreshing dip. Ana was very helpful with all aspects... More
