Reasonably priced private rooms, very clean and pool was amazing. Staff are really helpful and even give you a list of things to do like ceñotes and caves as well as restaurants and beaches. Hammocks are a massive plus and air con available if requested. Would definitely stay again. Also Merida is a really nice place

Positives: The swimming pool is nice. The location is decent - short walk to main square and near to several restaurants and bars. Negatives: The rules are forced upon you as soon as you enter the hostel. After going through what felt like customs to check in you have to pay 100 peso deposit for a key and 50 for... More

This hostel is pretty average. The dorm rooms are a bit squished with overwhelmingly high ceilings and air conditioning between the hours of 9pm and 6am. It would be nice to have the AC on for a little longer because the heat and humidity ends up waking you up early. Each bunk has a light and plug as well as... More

My room (mixed dorm) had some major construction going on so did not really like it. There was dust and random construction workers going in and out all day. Wifi works, staff are very particular here. There is no partying allowed and they are super strict about noise. At 11pm they come up to you and ask you to stay... More

Spent 3 nights at the nomadas hostel as a part of my backpacking trip this august. the hostel was clean and nice, and the pool was amazing. They offer cooking-classes and salsa dancing courses as well, which is nice. However the hostel wasn't very social, and it was not allowed to drink there, so if you have that in mind... More

Building is really old and run down - it is in desperate need of a 360 degree refurbishment. Toilets are kept real clean but the rest of the place is just dirty everywhere (won't even comment on kitchen and fridge). The beds are not really comfortable and if you get the top bunk, it is not so easy to climb... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 11 nights, as we used Merida as a base to explore the surroundings. We stayed in a private room, but also saw vommon bathrooms and toilets which are all clean. Nomadas hostel is great and the staff amazing. The owner even drove us to the bus station today as we were a bit... More

I enjoyed my stay in Nomads. Be aware that on the internet hostal may look booked, but when I asked at the reception, they found free beds. To enter hostel, they give you breaclat so it feels very safe. Hostel has good breakfast and as well offers free morning yoga classes and evening salsa lessons. It is great place to... More

We stayed in a private room with AC. AC cost an extra 60 pesos a night - totally worth it in the humidity. The pool was nice and well taken care of. The breakfast was pretty good for a hostel. It is centrally located, and there is a place to have your laundry done for 30 pesos for a kilogram.... More

This was the first time we've stayed here with our kids and it was perfect, the pool area is beautiful and big and they loved it. We stayed in the new part, with a/c. We love that this hostel has both traditional hosteling and private rooms.
