    Very relaxing stay
We stayed five nights and it felt like home. We were so well cared for that we didn't want to leave. Teresa cooked awesome hot breakfasts and on special requests yummy dinners too. The king bedded room was very spacious with large windows, very comfy bed, large bathroom with separate shower and tub. It was very private and the inviting pool was right outside the door. The grounds were well kept and spacious. They even helped us with our laundry and arranged an excellent driver to take us downtown etc. It felt very safe staying here and we had some wonderful chats with Iona and JR. We would highly recommend this property to anyone.

I don't know why anybody would want to stay anywhere else
I stayed with my family during Christmas break. Iona, the owner made us feel at home right away. It's a place where you don't feel like you're staying at a hotel where you're being attended... instead it's like staying at home with friends. If that weren't enough the rooms and the grounds are beautiful. It's one of the few places where I'm looking forward to staying at again. My only suggestion is that there isn't anything worth visiting at a walking distance from the hotel, so guests do need a car or rely on taxis.

    A very agreeable stay
We had two spacious rooms with to enormous beds and nice soft matrasses. Good breakfast by Teresa on the porch.ona and JR are very hospitable and helped us with taxi, laundry and diner - and we had some good chats and had a good tour around the garden and learned a lot about vanilla plants. Nice pool. Attractive hacienda. Conveniently located. Taxi to Merida centre recommended. About an hour to Homun and other cenotes. Easy access to the mainroad. Close to Hacienda Teya. We had a great stay.

Love this place. Second time this year at San Pedro’s Nopath and we will stay here every time we come back to Merida. The place is lovely: great rooms, superb kitchen and the most incredible and warmth hospitality from the owners, Iona and Jr.

My family stayed here on our last night. It’s a 15 minute drive to the airport, which is how I found it. Iona is very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The only downside is I got bit by several mosquitos when I was outside. Mosquitos love my blood. But we came prepared. I bought mosquito tents for the trip so I slept like a baby.

Iona owns and operates the Hacienda and is a wonderful friendly hostess. Our "room" was actually 3 rooms plus a bathroom and porch. The furniture was eclectic, but clean and comfortable. She even provides Canadian satellite TV. If you want to be treated like a friend and know you are safe and listen to the birds with coffee in the morning, this is the place for you. Iona arranged for us to be transported to a restaurant in the next town in a motorized tricycle, you ride in the front. It was an adventure and fun. If you want a Hilton atmosphere go to Hilton. Unfortunately we had only one night in Merida. Would have loved to stay longer! Easy access from Route 180. Leave car at Hacienda and take cab into Centro.

We were looking for a hotel outside of Merida. As much as we love Merida night life this time we went for business and wanted to get an early start the next morning after having a leisurely breakfast. that is exactly what we achieved thanks to Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat. We were greeted warmly by Iona who showed us around. She also suggested we take one of the tricycle motor taxis and go to a neighboring restaurant where I was able to find delicious vegetarian food and my husband could eat huge meat tacos. It was perfect and we loved the ride. Thank's Iona for the suggestion. Breakfast was delicious and we found our one night there was too short. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. We will stay there again.

We had a very relaxing stay at Iona and Jr’s home. Iona was very accommodating and we enjoyed spending time with her. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and plentiful. Pool was large and clean. Beds were very comfortable as well. Not a five star hacienda a bit more rustic but we knew that coming in and we enjoyed the more relaxed homey feel. It is a bit out of the way which we also knew coming in and as we came to relax was not an issue for us. Visit Hacienda Teya which is right down the street for a amazing meal. Thanks for the hospitality! Hope to meet you again someday!

Our stay at the Hacienda was a welcome respite from the sights and sounds of Merida. Iona and JR are excellent hosts and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners on the breezy verandah looking out at the well tended gardens. A special thanks to Theresa, who greeted us each morning at breakfast. Our rooms were very comfortable and well appointed with white fluffy towels and wonderful soft sheets. The grounds are lush and around every corner you can encounter ginger, palms, roses, banana trees and Iona’s herb and vegetable garden. Bright parrots along with the resident kitty and Ginger their dog, welcomed us home from our days of sightseeing at the Mayan ruins nearby. We highly recommend this peaceful oasis for large groups and families or couples wishing to get away from it all.
