This was a very clean, attractive hotel, very convent to shopping and busses. The pool was great, lots of seating around it both in sun and shade. The buffet breakfast was an added bonus! In nooks and corners they had chairs and sofas for reading or meeting with others. The staff was attentive, and I would go again!

There is nothing fancy or special about this hotel. It is certainly an older property, and the rooms are not as nice as the public spaces. My "closet" was a pole with hangers under the television, the safe did not work, and the shower curtain rod was totally rusted. That being said - the price for this hotel was good.... More

Nice Hotel, with Average rooms little bit old but ok. The bathroom old fashioned but also ok. The breakfast is not so good. You get all on a buffet but I didn't liked it. Overall it's ok. Nice made but the rooms are a little disappointing to the rest. Location is good, downtown.

I arrived in Merida via ADO bus and arrived at the bus terminal which is distant from the hotel. A taxi was required to get there and taxis are available outside the bus terminal and not that expensive. The hotel also goes by the name Hotel Doralba Inn and is used on the exterior of the building. The exterior to... More

I've stayed at the Hotel Dolores de Alba twice and I've been very happy with what I've gotten for my money. Centrally located, clean, free internet, hot water and A/C, and a helpful staff. It checks all the boxes without breaking the bank. Highly recommended.

we stayed 8 nights. the hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable. really great value. super staff ! located in the centro district, walking distance to most attractions. free breakfast buffet to get you up and out the door to explore. awesome pool for those hot afternoons. just be sure to pay the modest upgrade fee for the newer part of... Very pleased with my stay. Due to the low rate I was skeptical, but turns out this place is just lovely. Front desk staff so kind and helpful I assumed them the owner, but no, just a happy employee. Travel tips: 1) When u arrive drive just past emergence and ring bell, they open to very secure parking 2) hotel... More

i enjoyed staying at the hotel dolores alba in merida because the hotel was always being cleaned and the staff was friendly. they offer breakfast in the room rate which i found very reasonable. i also like that this hotel is centrally located and you do not need to walk far to reach the market area. This is a great hotel close to centro that has: an impressive classical architecture, good location, great staff, pool and balconies replete with rocking chairs. Too bad the breakfast is so bad...free does not have to mean horrible. And also the same horrible dishes (frosty strawberry-flavored quaker oats, anyone?) every morning. Is guest turnover really that severe that no one... More

Great value for money hotel located within walking distance of all the main places of interest and in a very quiet location. Bedroom was large - bathroom a little dated but clean. Reception staff were very helpful and the self service breakfast sufficient. A good location for a budget stay.
