We started our trip at another hotel near the Holiday Inn Merida but discovered quickly that the pool was situated such that it never got one ray of sunshine and that the air conditioner in the room was moody. After a few days we decided to relocate down the street to the Holiday Inn. Their pool is fantastic, the room...

Just arrived at this hotel while on a tour of Mexico and this has to be my favourite hotel so far. The staff have been friendly and helpful which is a welcome change from what I've experienced of Mexico in general. The outdoor BBG is great! Never stayed at the hotel, we usually stay at the Inter-Continental across the street. Whenever in town we make sure we go to the evening outdoor BBQ- It's a Yucatan delight and cheap about US $14.00 per person. Don't miss it!

My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Merida January 2010 and then later in February 2010. It is located in the area of big name, expensive hotels, near the Avenue of the Americas with its expansive streets and majestic houses. We never tired of our walks in the neighborhood or to the downtown park area. We think it...
